As much as id like to agree with this...you dont go from unnoticeable to quite literally the best player on the ice each game. And unfortunately some coaches and parents are this pathetic and will participate in this BS

If my kid is that good I’m not running to the 7th place single A team and for him to be their superstar.
If you truly believe this is happening then go through the proper channels to challenge it. It’s not that difficult.

You would be surprised by what parents do no matter the level.

how do you know he was unnoticeable? did you notice him before? maybe he was always their best player and he just improved the gap over the break...

lol over two weeks. I’m sure GTHL is looking into this as this team has all of a sudden started blowing out teams.

So Vaughan Rangers are using a kid not on the roster. What’s going to happen to Vaughan panthers and west mall. Do they get relegated next year?

They can pick up kids from other A teams who get bumped by AA cuts. With open borders some omha centres who do not want to drive all over for games are going to tryout for gthl teams.

I dunno they seemed to play better positionally the second time my sons team played them. So maybe the team playing better has given this one player more room. Which # was the kid?

Looks like it’s coming down to the wire for the last ‘bye’ playoff spot- erindale, Lorne Park and Rangers. Who’s gonna take it?

Probably Rangers.

But why would you want 6th as opposed to playing in for 7th or 8th? Probably not going to beat any of the top3 in playoffs. You will be sitting a week maybe week and a half before you play a game. Prelim winners will get an extra 4 league games prior to 1st round.
