Whatever helps you sleep at night. Good teams find a way to win when it matters. MI first place in their pool after RR. Do you get a medal for that?
MI can beat any team if their coaches keep their kids in the bench.
AAA dropdown not the savior all MI parents make him out to be.
Those kids deserve the minutes. They play well
It may not be the best to have a star player in the team. Super star + coach's kid can be the most toxic combination.

It depends on the attitude of the Super Star and their family. If they are humble and team players it works. If they think their $h- it don't stink then it doesn't.

Things are getting interesting down the home stretch, with 6 to 7 games left for most teams.
Seems like TRT has a lock on 1st place but the battle for 2nd is heating up between MI and FH. With two games head to head the 2nd place bye may go who can win these games against each other.

FH hasn't won a game in the "G" since Dec 10 2024 and if they want that bye they better figure something out quick. :o

The battle for third place and a date with ever improving NT in the 1st round is also up for grabs. NYK, SYB, FH all in the hunt for that battle.

Buckle up East Peeps - will be fun end of the season to see how it unfolds.

NT are playing well and could pull-off an upset in the first round!

SYB has to be the biggest letdown so far this season.
Gary Othmann with a bunch ex-AAA kids on his team. You would think they would run shop in AA. I guess big bad Gerry is showing his true colours on what kinda coach he is.

Pay the most in the league for what?
Mid pack team with a bottom end coach!

He’s not a hockey coach.
He runs a hockey school for God sake’s!
Check out his coaching history in the past, he’s won fack all. You guys are dumb enough not to do your history on this guy.
You deserve to be on a mid pack team.

Think of it this way fellas. This man has run a hockey schools for years. Has mid pack teams when he’s coaches.
If you were in the business of running a hockey school for years, I’d say you’re as close to a professional developer as you can get.
WHY in the hell doesn’t he have the top team in the league every year is the real question. Wake up people.

What a waste of money!

Also another example that AAA drop downs don't add anything to the make up of the team. In fact, they usually disrupt the team dynamics. You want your kid to chase an extra letter to play AAA, you can probably get him on a bottom feeder team but if your kid ain't playing in the top 3 teams VK, JRC, TM and on the top two lines why bother. The notion that a kid will come down to AA and dominate is a fallacy that has yet to be proven, especially in the competitive East loop.
