Stud will wear his mom’s name for TB and mine for PH. Who cares. What’s $20k against this kids future NHL earnings. Brick is everything so he’s made it.

Right?
Looking forward to watching the brick with my kid this year, but also looking forward to it being over so that I don’t have to read all this crap constantly. Half of you over hype it and other half overly criticize it. It’s a good tournament. Check. It’s pretty expensive. Check. That’s it. Move the f on.

Birthday skates seem to be less common in 2015 group this year... Are most of the top teams sticking with their core? The 2014 skates are nuts right now. All of the team flipping we've seen has been coaches making offers based on scouting so far. Is that the standard for 2nd year?

Teams are already made for U11, 2015 is a deep age group and with top OMHA kids coming into the G it will be the place to be, BOOK THAT

Why is anyone driving to the G to play hockey ( over 1 hr drive)? If your kids is good enough it makes more sense to have him play up a year. Skill and speed will always be better. One would have to think the associations will allow kids to play up for the risk of losing them to open boarders.

Definitely at this age u10 no one cares how good you are now. Let Johnny go hard and grind it out in the corners playing up a year. That's where he will became a better player.

We were invited to the TBD not so private skate this weekend and feel like this is just a cash grab yet again. ML told me who they have committed and it's not looking good in TBD land to even advance out of their group at brick.

It's all about recruiting for TM as well which after watching a bunch of games this year they need help. Seems like the TBD ship is sinking more and more year after year.
