2009 GTHL AA West
Re: 2009 GTHL AA West
With all due respect, if you’re not drafted in your U16 year, the chances of being drafted at 18 or 19 are extremely slim. By then, scouts are looking at players with years of high-level experience, not someone trying to break through late in the game. Remember, these teams are drafting from all over Canada and across the globe, competing against players who have already proven themselves in elite leagues. Without signs of elite athleticism and development by 16, it’s incredibly hard to stand out later when others have two extra years of competing at the highest levels. It’s a tough reality, but it underscores the importance of performing early in your draft year.

How’s the new year been treating everyone?Guest wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 9:34 am The VP players, coaches, and families had an amazing Christmas, filled with love and happiness. Here's to an incredible 2025 season ahead, more great games, more bonding, and even more unforgettable moments together. It’s such a fantastic feeling to be part of this hockey family!

Learn how to have some class...it's just AA.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 9:51 amGuest wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 11:25 pm VR the team to beat this season. VP lost too much to contend, they had AAA help all spring/summer. MB will be good but not as good as usual...learn how to win with class it's just summer.
Just going to eat my pop corn and watch VR AND VP go at it all season.
No one else really matters. I mean if the rest of the AA loop didn’t hate Vaughn teams so much it would be boring.
Plus the rivalry between VR and VP is just awesome and nothing comes close to it in this loop.
So basically, VR and VP make it entertaining - for everyone.![]()
To some parents AA is one step below the show

Dude these posts are from 2023. Why are you going back and commenting on 2 year old posts as if they are part of the current season conversation.
