The goalie looks like he sticks his arm out and gets caught on the passing player. Doesn't look like a cheap shot. goalie was also outside his crease.

What was his defenseman doing back there just watching the player go to the net????

The player didn’t hit the goalie. The goalie hit the player! Also, that was in the first period when it was only 1-0. No other garbage started until it was 6-0 and late in the 3rd and VRE just gave up and went head/knee hunting.

Maybe they can hand out a kneeing suspension on any one of the three or four attempt to injure needs that were thrown. Nobody hit the goalie the goalie launched out trying to hit the player. Again it's on live Barn for anyone to watch.
Hard to tell for sure from distance of the camera. But looked to me like the goalie was focused on holding the puck for a whistle and wasn't moving when he was hit.

You're probably right. Just like the knees that were thrown out to injure.... the kid was just stretching his legs trying to get rid of cramps.

But just in case, maybe double-check there was no dirty stuff from the home side. No running of goalies. No cheap shots. No spearing to the gut. No hacking by your goalie. No cursing from the stands. No SIR players high-fiving and showboating after every scrum. No chirping by SIR coaches on the way out. Nobody hanging around the lobby after to chirp some more.
Got to make sure you're squeaky clean before calling the commish.
I’m sure the VRE coach late changed 97 at the end to congratulate SIR on a dominant performance. That planned backfired, went out to start shit and got his done rocked right off his head. People like you (the needler) needs to be fed thier phone. Just eat the loss and maybe we can rekindle this romance in the playoffs( provided both teams make it through). Til then 😘

I like how 97 came out after the game and started challenging the SIR players as they were leaving the rink. He told one of the players "im going to fuc*&ing kill you". Talk about a poor sport and a cry baby. And yes, he did get his helmet knocked flat off when he tried to start a fight at the end of the game. The last shift all he did was take runs at players. First is was 27, then 12, then 10 put him in his place. What a baby.

 on the try to bully the locals comment. Try and live a little more vicariously through your son, loser.

Not a parent of either team, but SIR is renowned as the dirtiest team in the league. Lots of virtue signaling and tough guy antics after the fact from SIR parents. VRE parents are annoying but I sincerely doubt SIR was 'aw shucks' innocent on all this. You can always count on that Italian temper to rear its head from VRE when provoked and take things too far.

If you look at the beginning of the shift, SIR (27)cuts just above the crease, the goalie sticks out his blocker and loses his stick, then whines to the ref. same player later on the same shift is coming in on a 1-1 against VRE(97), shoots and follows his shot for the rebound, whistle goes he's about 3 feet from goalie. As he passes 97, 97 gives him a shot from behind, you actually see 27 move to avoid collision with the goalie. Goalie flops like a child and all hell breaks loose. Do I blame 27? not really doing what he's supposed to do, go hard to the net. do I blame the goalie? meh, he's doing what goalies do, flop. Do I blame the captain of VRE for the cheap head shot from the bench. Damn right.
