OMHA parent here , I did my due diligence and have had conversations with all 12 GTHL teams for next season. While we have decided to possibly join 1 here are my thoughts on who will rank where
DMF/Nats (powerhouses)
TM (ML holds it together barely for U11 only cause of brick)
JRC (Not enough coming in to compete in U11)
REPS (adding scoring, group will be ok)
VK (same as current year +/-)
Rebels (few additional kids coming in to help their goalie)
NYR (team blows up but still Strong's together 12 wins)
TT (good pieces added)
Sens (too many freebies and favours to friends to compete)
TRW (new outlook will move out of basement)
MM (dumpster fire)
Yea OMHA parent, sure you are. So nice of these coaches and parents to spill all of these details to some random stranger. Looks like you went to a lot of effort just to slam MM. Motive? I'm guessing you're a coach trying to convince one or more of MM stronger players to make a move. Or possibly just a bitter cut. Either way, get a life.

Any OMHA parent who leaves a good coach and position in the O is in for a rude awakening. The GTHL is a cesspool. I predict many unhappy parents next year who spent allot of money and time traveling for no reason.

MM has a skate on Tuesday evenings. Reach out to the coach.
Honest response. Only reach out if you want to be strung along on the coach's money scam. I get you want your kid on a skate, but trust me, MM Tuesday skates are not the way to go. You can listen now or come to that conclusion after 6 skates coach tells you he needs just a few more to properly evaluate your did. All other skates have been legit so far, except MM. Also honest response, if you're not hearing about skates or being invited to skates, you need to network better at the rink or your kid isn't ready for AA. Which is fine. But the reputable AAA coaches are always scouting and inviting kids to skates. So, your kid has gotten a look already, but you just don't know it. They are always at the rinks or watching.
