lol and my kid and his team would wipe the floor with all of them…! More Associations.need to find GOOD non parent coaches, one of the biggest problems in minor hockey, Parent coaches who pick their friends and not the best team, IMO, if you a parent coach, the association should be part of assessing players and choosing teams!
OHF Opening borders??

Can’t coach forever. The kid will be exposed once he plays with other playersGuest wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2025 10:04 pmKB @HPL tacticGuest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:32 pmExperiencing this first hand. Re: OHF Opening borders??
You mean the kid will be exposed when he plays with real talent without daddy's manipulation.
Re: OHF Opening borders??
What are the rules going to be for U9 OMHA players who want to play U10 in the GTHL? The rules before open borders were you can play on your home centre's AAA team only as a U9 for U10, with open borders will the U9's be permitted to play anywhere they want at the U10 level or still be forced only to play on their home town team as an underager?
Thanks
Thanks

Slow clap for the Barrie jr colts executive committee!
Just completely blew up a u10 age group that would have been top 10 in the province.
Good work!!!

For some of us it is driving an hour in a different direction, or in this case, going further but on much better roads where in bad weather it will actually be a quicker drive.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 7:31 pmAnyone driving over an hour to play hockey needs some serious help.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 4:52 pm At the AA level, London announced they will not take any kids from outside the city except for Lambeth (which is in London city limits).
AAA is open, but I can't see a lot of parents driving over an hour for practices and games. It is not worth it.
Just saying, when youngers played in GTHL, it could take well over an hour for all the Scarborough kids to get to North Mississauga for practices and games. Traffic's a beeeeoch.

Yup 2 Mississauga teams have to play in Downsview tonight for a game with rush hour and rain will probably take 1 to 1/2 hrs to go 30kms.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 12:03 pmFor some of us it is driving an hour in a different direction, or in this case, going further but on much better roads where in bad weather it will actually be a quicker drive.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 7:31 pmAnyone driving over an hour to play hockey needs some serious help.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 4:52 pm At the AA level, London announced they will not take any kids from outside the city except for Lambeth (which is in London city limits).
