Analyzing AA like it's the NHL... how much time do you have on your hands?Guest wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 9:10 pmThe top West teams all have their pros and cons. But generally most of them are better than East.
VP - have a very weak goalie and no stud scorers, rely on solid D, tight and well coached roster. Their performance in the playoffs will depend 150% on goaltending, teams that can score early and often can beat them.
MNS - will rely on their super scorers and very strong D with a solid goalie behind them. Their problem is they shy away from physicality and they have 2-3 kids who should play select. It will depend on whether coach sits them, hes a yeller so the odds are high.
FT - much like above also have a couple of super scorers and a solid goalie. Well coached and disciplined, kids mesh well. Their D is weak and is for the most part getting cut so that’s what will decide their fate. Coach is ruthless, like MNS will sit a third of the roster to win.
VR - good all around team, fight and battle hard on the boards. Their fortunes will depend on how many dumb penalties they take and they take alot. Lack up front scorers so they have to play as a strong team. If things go badly they give up. Coaches kind of nuts.
MB - overrated, without their stud up front they don’t have much else. Also cycling out D like FT so that’s what teams should target. They can be dirty like VR but for some reason the refs don’t punish them for it.
2015 AA

Why do you call VR coaches nuts?
I think that VP have at least 2 good forward, don’t remember the numbers. one of them is very fast but small, the other has high hockey iq.
I also think MB is a well balanced team for AA. Defenders are ok, no worse than in other teams
Re: 2015 AA
Or trying to put the best possible team together for next year! If that’s too much for you go play single A.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 11:55 pm Some coaches are crazy eh lol
Re: 2015 AA
High and mighty VR also beat WNA one of the top ranked teams in Ontario. Beat up on BC as well. LF plays a strong team game and VR were no where near their best for that game. lol all you want… sorry your little duster can’t keep up so you come on here talking smack.
Re: 2015 AA
Shut your traps, VR with a 7th win in hand. Hottest team in the league now.
I don’t know why coaches encourage kids to shoot from 60 feet at this age, you will never score but instead create turnovers.
