When coaches only focus on developing their pet players and it becomes more about what’s on gamesheet than what actually happens on the ice it shows. I agree kids need to spend time working outside of league, but often times that doesn’t matter because the coaches buddy’s kid will always take priority

Why is Elgin the team that comes up repeatedly regarding toxic development in every alliance thread. Outside of the gta they are the most hated team. Are they so good people love to hate, or is there an age wide issue with coach selection, team play, politics and morale?
This site isn’t going to decide where my kids tryout but red flags are everywhere

15 nice guys not coaches in over head 14 toxic coaches team has blown up could have been best in province 13 kids not developing top kids will leave for coaching head coach is toxic 12 to much bored involvmnt good core non parent coaches will help should be best alliance team next year 11 Awesome 10 nice guys but rebuild year need to recroot a couple kids and good assistant coach
