Re: 2015 AAA
Amal’s coaching philosophy seems to be less about development and more about proving a point—at the expense of 10-year-olds. Benching kids for entire games? That’s not coaching; that’s ego. If the goal is to develop players, how exactly does keeping them glued to the bench help? At this age, it’s about learning, not running a glorified beer league where only his favorites see ice time.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 1:20 pmGuest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 1:07 pmTotally agree, this is life, you got cut just move on. Maybe take some accountability rather then come on here and bash kids or parents. Its no hard feelings its just hockey.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 1:03 pmYou read stuff like this and just wonder what people's motives are. So your kid got cut, you have to go and trash a guy anonymously? It's February and people are getting bad news and so come and lash out. Not just an MM thing, see it everywhere and every age group - really patheticGuest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 12:58 pmDo you understand what the word racist means? Nothing was racist there. Unless firefighters are a race
I get it. Your kid is hurting and you as a parent hurts.
Accountability? Sure—let’s hold coaches accountable, too. Parents invest time, money, and trust in these programs, expecting fair development opportunities, not politics disguised as “coaching decisions.” If someone’s going to play dictator with a minor hockey bench, expect people to talk about it.
Not about a kid getting cut—this is about a coach making decisions that do more harm than good for young athletes.

Visit alliance, white trash parent coaches who favour their kid at the cost of the development of the team.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 2:58 pmAmal’s coaching philosophy seems to be less about development and more about proving a point—at the expense of 10-year-olds. Did you know Cirelli played AA hockey until U18 & was cut from his HS hockey team in grade 9?Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 12:45 pmMaybe above average. Anthony Cirelli names him as his favourite minor hockey coach in his Juniors interview. That's gotta count for something.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 9:50 amDon’t know a lot about Joe Venuto, his name pops up from time to time in different teams. In my opinion just an average hockey coach from Toronto. Maybe others can add something to this.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 7:50 amTRW for sure, as you can’t be any weaker than now. Heard they’re getting a new Joe Venuto. Don’t know if he’s good though.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2025 5:18 pm Are any of these teams gonna be any better next season? MM, TRW, TT
TT will also be better under new coach with new kids
MM will decline a bit, as best kids will go elsewhere and many kids don’t go well with the coach and simply decline offers

Keep chasing the AAA dream.. let your kid love hockey first.. the obsession will take over naturally.
