You really think a mom from another team knew this, but nobody on the Rattlers knew about. Pretty pathetic if other teams parents better know how to manage your team than you do. The coaching staff, manager, trainer, and org all new about it. Half of them are parent volunteers which means parents knew about it also. They thought they could get away with it because they thought it wasn't a big deal, but someone on another team called them out for it and now they're trying to cry foul about what they did to themselves.

If we ever find out who the person was, no not “person” THE RAT!!!! It will come out who it was, it always does and Rattlers parents are on the case, believe me. This is far from over. The pettiness has got to stop in the league. Grown adults so scared of losing they have to cry about something like this. If we have to organize a protest then that’s what we will do!

It’s not a rule set in stone. 9.13(b). If it were absolute the appeal to the OHF would have been turfed already.

What are you on about. It's already very well known who it was that reported them. Pay attention.

You don’t understand the toll this is had on the Rattlers, their coaches, parents and fans. This is a travesty. This is gonna cause generational trauma. I don’t know who reported the incident, it hasn’t been confirmed or verified. If it was you and you are reading this, please come forward. I wanna know what you had to gain to do this. You’ve ruined families you’ve ruined kids. There are parents that have gone into a deep depression over this & unable to work.

Not even close to having a horse in the race here, but if it was an innocent mistake why wasn't he listed on the game sheets? Doesn't add up. Sounds like it was intentionally left off because they knew he wasn't registered, no? Seems like it from the outside...

10AA Knights had their whole season wiped out last year over hijinks as well. Stakes a lot lower because everyone made playoffs anyways, but same punishment.

Rattler parents lets pump the brakes, you are talking as if your team was a shoe in to win the league. Please remember you have yet to beat the top team in this division so as of now, you guys have won shit! Enjoy the 1st round as it will be your last and you probably wish you had entered the Clancy in retrospect.

⬆️ comments like this. I hope this is just a troll and not actually a Rattlers parent speaking on behalf of the Rattlers. Mental health is a real and serious issue. The comments here about "generational trauma", "ruined families", "deep depression". But even on that silly letthemplay website the rattlers parents went on record saying this has caused "mental and emotional harm" to the kids. If this really has caused mental health issues for everyone involved on the Rattlers, then I honestly do feel very sorry for you and I hope you are able to recover. But really we are talking about some forfeited hockey games and you could have just played end of season tournaments and really you'll make the playoffs now anyways. So I just find it hard to believe that this is causing serious mental and emotional harm to these kids and then it would be really despicable if you're trying to cry foul over serious mental health concerns when none actually exist. But if there are real mental health issues then I hope those who are suffering can get the help they need to recover.

Guest wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 1:18 pm I understand that it shouldn't punish the kids, but if the rule says games will be forfeited with an illegible person on the bench, why are they still complaining? The GTHL didn't just decide this on a whim, it's a cold hard rule.

Never do they mention anywhere that the Rattlers were given a chance to still make playoffs. Why is that information being hidden? Oh yeah, because they don't want to play VP first round.

That's all it comes down to. Rattlers don't want to play VP first round. Losing that quickly hurts their head coaches resume I guess?
The G knew this was coming out today so they gave the team some points back yesterday.
