Her loyalty is to her kid. Not to a board for an org that cut her 2 other kids. Good for them if they found something that works better for their family. Great pick up for HPL if it's true.

He’ll be better for it. Players who are favoured (daddy) their entire minor hockey career generally don’t develop as well as the kids who have to earn their spot, play the long game and keep grinding buddy.
