8th (VR) 9th (TE) 12th (WML) 13th (DD)
Exciting that AA west has had more competitive games this year, don't see either team coming of the play-in with a 3-0-0 record.
none of these teams deserve to be in the playoffs
And they are not (it’s a preliminary round) but I guess what you’re saying is that if you finish 7th you don’t belong in the playoffs. Got it. How many games has your team lost to one or more of the teams currently in 7th to 12th, willing to bet it’s not 0. Loop has been quite competitive this year and the standings prove it.
Competitive loop? Ha. Look at the quality of hockey that is in this loop. It is horrible. It is coached horribly on most teams except maybe 3 teams at most. Enjoy the “competitive” playoffs!
Best coached teams in order are? Go!
The answer is none - AA kids are stupid and don’t listen and or retain information. I’ve heard coaches yelling for kids to change or get in position and they just keep going with blinders on like house league

3/4 of the kids are definitely like that. But the top kids in AA are all in. Focused and motivated. They need time to adapt to the speed a bit. But give them some time and most will blend in no problem

hoping teams at the bottom DD, TW, WM can make some changes and be actual teams next year. It’s very painful to play 6-8 fake pointless games every season because fake AA teams get spots in the division
Anyone know these teams plans. Who are coaches. Will they fill the teams with A players who can’t play this level and won’t have any fun.
Any info please. I might call the G office of this crap continue

Nothing is changing. The G doesn’t care. As long as they can fill a team they get to play. It’s always been $$ over quality

Share these rumors. Sharks losing their best player to triple. Beast is always number 1. This list is bull
Hahaha
There is not one player in the west loop that should be in aaa

Maybe bottom 2 but that’s just a waste of money
So silly
When was the last time you actually watched a U12 AAA game in person (not LB)? 1/3 of the AAA players don’t have the body size, speed and skills to be playing AAA. Wait until U14 and there will be lots of players leaving due to the above mentioned shortcomings
seen both, AAA after the top 3 teams is really bad. thats the unfortunate state of hockey in ontario - Yes AA kids can play in AAA but the G needs to do a better job. way too diluted and way too much politics. all about money.
It has nothing to do with saying that you are in AAA. Some parents want the most for development. Playing with AAA kids will develop your kid no matter how bad your team does. That’s also if the kid has a passion for the game. But it isn’t an urgent time for 11yr olds to go AAA. There is still time
GTHL AAA > OMHA AAA *big gap* > GTHL AA

AAA Teams are not at any AA kids with open borders.
There were a few AA kids moved up this season and they all struggled.
GTHL AA is better than OMHA aaa

FT players that are leaving is a mistake. That is a good team. Good luck.

They’ve had a very strange season for sure. Good start. Bad middle. Now on a streak to end the season
Any reason for it?

There's a great core group of kids, they've really started to play together as a team. A few kids are leaving, which is fine, they're not committed any longer. The team is looking for a few new kids, defense and forwards.

It’s always those same parents “chasing the dream” not realizing that things aren’t always better “on the other side”. Poor kids have to make new friends and figure out their position on the new team. Unless you’re moving your kid from a bottom 5 team to a top 5 team it’s usually not worth the hassle to move from one mid tier team to another.

All you need to do is look at where teams finished last year and where they are trending this year…

-Top 2 teams have remained the same
-toros and terriers are at 7 less wins than year
-rattlers and north stars are down about 6 wins each
-Sharks and streetsville only teams that seem to have gotten it right with +7 wins vs last year
-eagles are exactly where they were last year

Maybe parity is what is evening things out but the ‘chasing wins’ strategy seems to be a losing one for most parents - when really it should be about the kids
