The decline started when other kids started to outplay #8 and he started to realize that he was no longer top 2 or 3 player on the team. It was his way of dealing with it. He has to bring the room down cause he's no longer needed. Team was winning and other Guys putting up points and he wasnt happy about that. Now Mom keeps calling coach to remind him that he needs to play the kid and make.changes with the lines etc etc.

Totally agree. Against Hamilton he was nowhere to be found. Looked lost. Our top players was skating around him and as he was standing still waiting for a stretch pass as the others broke out as a unit. Now that 91 17 9 are starting to out skate him and mixing it up in battles and getting the points, it’s starting to make 8 look expendable. Coach do the right thing. Play the right guys. Coach please.
How did the Nats coach get on this thread. Pumping up the tires of 91 17 and 9. Offering them free rides to join his 'never made the playoffs' team? Nice try JC.
