2012 GTHL AAA
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
Mack told a couple of the NYR kids that he was stepping away from coaching next year to focus on his business. PS knows that he won’t survive without him and when he found out he freaked. This is the beginning of the end for PS.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 2:28 pm Apparently because he was being verbally abusive to the kids, but that does not make sense, They all train with him and only heard good things about him from parents and kids vs PS its all negative... the PS Ego sure loves to make a lot of enemies
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
The decision was made for him not to come back months ago. He has his own team. He was let go recently due to certain comment he made. If you think this was a PS decision for him not to finish the year then you aren't in the know.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 4:36 pmMack told a couple of the NYR kids that he was stepping away from coaching next year to focus on his business. PS has brought in a highly regarded D coach.

Reid Acton, Don Mills Flyers U15 (2010) head coach and owner of Beast Athletics and Bob Acton Sports, used his reputation in the community and within the Don Mills organization to keep Michael Hollander in his position as Head coach of the U12 (2013) Don Mills Flyers team.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 10:17 pm Whoever in the Don Mills organization protecting the 2013 Head Coach from being removed from his position on the U12[Minor Peewee] AAA hockey team and allowing the payments from parents to the Head Coach and to the organization for him to remain in his position is a cancer to minor hockey, especially to the families of the East End Toronto, and are yet another black eye on the Greater Toronto Hockey League.

Michael Hollander has not been successful as Head Coach with the 2013 age group for the past three years. He has struggled to stay out of the bottom six. He has lost some of the most skilled players to other teams every year for past three years, He has alienated every single Toronto family, mostly Toronto East End families. Michael Hollander has been suspended by the Greater Toronto Hockey League multiple times and expelled from sanctioned tournaments for cheating. Reid Acton’s protection of Michael continued to set this age group up for failure and allow wealthy families from outside Toronto to influence ice time, roster selection and team budget without consequence. All of this at the expense of the 2013 players and goalies he has coached for three years.
There are serious questions on sponsorships, paid training selection and training facility contracts for the return of how the team is managed and developed. Most people seem to be aware of the individuals with money and its disgusting. Reid Acton, Michael Hollander’s friend and employer, tried to save Michael’s reputation through all of this.
Has Reid Acton succeeded in keeping Michael Hollander in his head coaching position for the long term or is the Don Mills organization back on course with the U12 age group?
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
Sounds like most teams here in the U13 age group. All these coaches are complete idiots and have zero communication skills, management skills, sports psychology training and make decisions based on legacy families that they desperately need to keep happy with ice time and are simply to dumb to make the right decisions. IF you lose 5-7 Players every year you know the Coach sucks. Stay clear.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 12:08 amReid Acton, Don Mills Flyers U15 (2010) head coach and owner of Beast Athletics and Bob Acton Sports, used his reputation in the community and within the Don Mills organization to keep Michael Hollander in his position as Head coach of the U12 (2013) Don Mills Flyers team.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 10:17 pm Whoever in the Don Mills organization protecting the 2013 Head Coach from being removed from his position on the U12[Minor Peewee] AAA hockey team and allowing the payments from parents to the Head Coach and to the organization for him to remain in his position is a cancer to minor hockey, especially to the families of the East End Toronto, and are yet another black eye on the Greater Toronto Hockey League.

The U12 Marlies are the same way, lost 9 players for the second year in a row. Huge red flag in any age group.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2025 7:48 amSounds like most teams here in the U13 age group.
