It’s always those same parents “chasing the dream” not realizing that things aren’t always better “on the other side”. Poor kids have to make new friends and figure out their position on the new team. Unless you’re moving your kid from a bottom 5 team to a top 5 team it’s usually not worth the hassle to move from one mid tier team to another.

All you need to do is look at where teams finished last year and where they are trending this year…

-Top 2 teams have remained the same
-toros and terriers are at 7 less wins than year
-rattlers and north stars are down about 6 wins each
-Sharks and streetsville only teams that seem to have gotten it right with +7 wins vs last year
-eagles are exactly where they were last year


Maybe parity is what is evening things out but the ‘chasing wins’ strategy seems to be a losing one for most parents - when really it should be about the kids

You don’t know the reason so don’t judge. But i do agree with parents chasing what has been promised to them. This year the promise is winning the OHF’s. Who cares about the OHF’s. Rattlers will be a disaster next year. Book it!

Only 3 teams in the G will have a chance at OHF, MB like usual, VP and EE from the east. The rest are big dreams and empty promises. If you want to believe these guys spewing you snake oil go ahead. It’s your own fault if you believe them. MR is a disaster every year. You bring in some kids from VR and GTC and you think you will be contenders. It will be another circus.

Beast and Panthers have some D that could make AAA teams. I dont know many others in the loop that can make the move and havent heard of anyone confirmed,.

This sounds like a parent whose kid got cut from Rattlers or couldn’t hack it with GTC. Don’t get upset just have your kid work harder.

If my kid was really good and looking for a team those were the only 4 id even consider

the 4 teams mentioned above had the same (if not higher) turnover rate last season as most of the other teams.
