Pretty harsh, but true. Think it's the type of players the coach picks as well. Having an eye for talent is a must to be a successful coach.

Defensive forwards
200ft players
HARD WORK NEEDS TO BE NON NEGOTIABLE.

ANY COACH who tries and build a team around goal scorers only will sink a team.

Had the pleasure of watching the game prior to ours at Westwood the Nats look horrible against really weak TRW team
With the exception of 1 or 2 players. The big kid wasn’t playing net that would’ve made a difference

The Nats are going to implode in playoffs and as far as next year the gap
Will narrow down really quickly
Good luck in the playoffs you are going to need it

Must agree here, NATS coaching fell short last season and there are no signs they will put their egos aside for the betterment of the team this post season. They will struggle if they cannot shorten the bench, and limit or healthy scratch their beloved player.

It rarely works out. It comes down to can that parent coach be unbiased towards his own kid? Most times they can't.

I get the whole parent coach labelling, but what's the difference with Managers or "sponsors" pushing their narrative. To me that's even worse, like what's going on with the RW

Managers and sponsors influence is way worst then parent coach. At least in a parent coached team you go in knowing what you’re in for and majority of parent coaches are unpaid. The silent control and parents buying control like TRW is the worse case scenario as i bet majority of families had to clue what they signed up for. But it’s easy to point fingers at parent coaches as the problem.

I agree the TRW is hiding behind coaches basically calling the shot but making it look like they’re impartial

Speaking with LD and curious who is this person calling the shots. I’m very unsure as it doesn’t appear to be that stable of a group and not getting clear answers on who’s staying and who’s going. Is LVR really leaving, what about LN and LJ? Why does it seem like the parent group is on here attacking each other.

He is a junior a coach and the Head instructor at Blyth. He got LD the Job I am assuming. His kid is not bad, needs work on his skating but will improve for sure. MG is a high end coach and knows what he is doing, No names hyman got to where he is because of MG.

Woah Junior coach, Blyth instructor, kid who can’t skate, calling the shots. How many conflicts can we list here. Is he the reason so many teams in the loop have Blyth coaches?
His kid should take the time in A to improve before playing with the big boys. If he’s a high end coach why didn’t he get his kid further in the early years the kid can barely move and sits at the net and gets lucky. So many conflicts here and no wonder families are running away from the team if they can.
