Anyone who knows anything about EMC will avoid it. Nothing changing over there. CL nephew now coaching the team. Being a top kid at LJK, playing good minutes, jumping on the PP and PK is better development than being second, third or Fourth fiddle to the EMC inner posses kidsGuest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 12:47 pm Sounds like LJK will get the bottom EMC kids as EMC is calling the top LJK kids to offer "conversations".
LJK will be fine next year. Middle of the pack and there's nothing wrong with that!

Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
Remember kids next year contact comes into play. It is just another layer of complexity to the equation. Kids can upwards of a foot difference in height. Systems come more into play...the ice contracts in size...especially in the O Zone.
Can the big kids keep up with the pace?
Can the smaller kids mentally manage being pushed around or losing battles in the corner?
Kids that are mentally tough begin to either gain ground on the pack or seperate themselves from the pack. Stick slapping and bad body language could be at an all time high next year.

How mentally tough do you get when you’ve only ever played for your dad and you’ve never had to earn ice time or a PPGuest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 7:35 pmThought it already was high with a few players throughout the league.....Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 5:05 pm Remember kids next year contact comes into play. Some coaches kids deserve everything they get. Others, not so much.

Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
The kid might an AP, but from what I hear, he's yet to play even 1 game with the U14 Green team. This is a bogus decision by LJK. It will not work, as the kid can barely compete in AA. Politics yet again! It's unfair to put the kid in that situation. Does daddy think he's going to be any kind of factor? He will not and it will be obvious from day one!Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 7:02 pm See this is where all you short sided people get it wrong!
Listening to all the noise!
3 years ago…he AP’d for the age group up. Last year, AAA AP and this year, AP’ing for U14 Green. So get your facts straight!
ND is a very valuable Coach, with an almost undefeated record since LJK U10!
Not Allowed about Hockey Canada, Alliance, Local Organizations…but chirping 12/13 year old kids is just pathetic!

Very unfortunate situation. Team may have some challenges next season it seems. Did anyone else apply?Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 10:42 pmThe kid might an AP, but from what I hear, he's yet to play even 1 game with the U14 Green team. This is a bogus decision by LJK.
