First round set:
SIR vs SYB
TA vs NT
Battle of Scarborough. Unfortunately series won't be like the old days. Neither SYB or NT wanted SIR first round so good on NT for the big win against TA. SYB has flashes of excellence and a good PP, however SIR overall better team with more studs IF healthy. SIR hasn't had a full bench yet this year, so that's a wild card. SYB has good structure. Games will be close, but SIR will overwhelm with natural talent. SIR 7-3
TA is interesting. Goaltending is sketchy, hot and cold at times. Rely heavily on PP. .500 team this season with negative goals fore differential. NT has stud goalie, terrible everything else. Both teams are meh and will get steam rolled in the next round, so they get a few extra free games in the first round. I think TA 6-4 as they have overall better players.
As for next round, huge game on Tuesday, not just for first but has second round implications. LF don't want SIR, TRT wants SIR. LF doesn't care about TA, TRT doesn't want TA. more than first place up for grabs......... Will be interesting as both teams will push for first, both this game has further implications down the road.
Good luck to all!
Of the 1st round teams, SIR is the only one with potential. SIR is good. TA is average at best. SYB and NT are below average. Anything can happen in a playoff series, but SIR should get through easy and even TA should be fine to advance.
I don't think TRT or LF are particularly worried about either of these teams. SIR could surprise with an update, TA unlikely. But the finals really should be TRT vs LF as the two excellent teams in an otherwise weak group.
Looks like the Aeros are getting a new coach next season…shocking, right? Well… not really. Let’s be honest, the enthusiasm behind the bench these last couple of years has been about as lively as a Sunday afternoon nap. Not exactly the motivational energy you’d hope for. So hey, fresh blood might be just what this team needs. Wishing the best to whoever’s sticking around, maybe they’ll finally get a coach who actually wants to coach.

Seems like you're hurt over your kid being cut. It's alright maybe the new coach will look at your son next season.
Aeros coaching is moving to AAA hence the new coach.. shocker right? Must be all of that enthusiasm on the bench

Well, as long as the new coach is an upgrade, that’s what matters. Hopefully, there’s more focus on coaching than personal distractions. Wishing the players sticking around all the best, maybe now they can pull in some real talent!
With the year they had this season, it looks like the coach was asked to leave. Time for a change. His style wasn’t clicking with the players, and the commitment just wasn’t there, personal life seemed to come first.

Happy for the team! Wishing them all the very best.
