Also - better to play top team AA or bottom team AAA? Reps are looking but coach doesn't seem... Knowledgeable?
The HC at EE is not very good, he can't even skate  he has good players on his team and with their winning record he has recruited parents and players that want to win over development. if he is so good why hasn't he gotten his players to AAA??? I would stay away from EE. NT has better coaching, watch their games they play a great team game. The teams that had the best development and improved the most this year are knights, bruins, and Islanders. Also don't over look the Ice Raiders next year with new coaches.

Probably better to speak with the coach for longer or parents on the current team than listen to anybody on here.

Hard to argue with success. 55-6-5 so far this year with 4 tourney championships and 72-8-5 last year with 4 tourney championships and regular season East title. Great kids on team that hang out away from the rink and excellent parent group.
Got to be an EE parent\coach trying to sell you a dream  Real hockey parents know its a nightmare over there. 8-)

Legit question: if getting kids into AAA is your bar for success, how many players have gone from NT, Bruins, Knights or Islanders to AAA?

All the dumbest entries on this site come after 11pm after bitter dad/coach has had his 5th beer and thinks he's gonna burn someone with his wit and wisdom.
I think original answer to the questions was legit. If you want to go anywhere just talk to coach and/or parents from that team, or go watch a game and see if you like how the kids play, interact with each other and coach. See how the parents act.
The "EE Coach is bad cause his kids are magically good without developing over two years and instead you should take your kids to the...check notes...Scarborough Ice Raiders" take was a work of art though. Even for this site.

The above post goes to show you how useless this site is and how it is filled with JEALOUS BS haters that know nothing.

The EE/East York program has put many kids into AAA, 3 from Tyke, 2 from the NYHL championship winning Novice team, 2 last year, every non-covid cancelled year multiple kids have moved to AAA. Furthermore there are many kids that could make AAA from the current team but some remained in the program as it is fun, no drama, cheapest in the East, focused on development and has seen incredible results.

As far a recruiting goes the EE program has experience little turnover year over year (except for the kids that have move to AAA) many kids have been playing together for years. Furthermore the kids that joined the team last year were quickly made to feel important and were quickly welcomed by the kids.

This site is useless, as mentioned before talk to one of the coaches or talk to any parent in the program past or present.

I dare you to talk hockey with the HC of EE after 5 minutes you will be able to tell he's a big phony and has never played hockey. better yet talk to the other coaches and parents in U11 AA east loop about EE HC, I would do your homework before wasting a year of development over there.

Look, the guy and team has proven winning ways. What people don't like (some despise) is his sometimes childish actions during games. He has chirped other teams kids, rub losses and penalties in your face, and his actions rub off on his kids. His boys will do insane cellies in front of your bench while beating up on teams. He seems to have settled down a bit and is nicer after games now a days. His wife and son are very nice and a good player. If he could lead by being classy and teaching his team about sportsmanship he would be a 10/10.

Thank you for this sound advice! As you seem like someone actually sensible - Do you have any thoughts on NTH or TRT?

Can vouch for this - seen the guy gloating on the bench, mocking kids on other teams. Terrible behavior from a grown ass man a lot of the time.
