Nobody chirping…just stating facts and it seems the player is the soft spot apparently. If he isn’t the top 2 or 3 in that age group AA then people have the right to question the decision. Is the player a top end AA player? Are there others that would deserve that nod? All very legit questions. Not chirping

At Elgin the coach picks bench before tryouts. 3/4 assistant coach kids can be the bottom 3 on the team but are all guaranteed spots before stepping on the ice and they get more ice time. London is known to have quality coaches at AAA, they make mistakes on occasion but they do right by players.

HS deserves the ice time and RS is a good coach. The other asst coaches aren’t parents

True RS is a good coach and HS is a good player.
What about RD??

Or in past years when all parents on the bench SB? GP? CL? Do all their kids incl. RD deserve the ice time they have over the years?

This is part of why Chatham is so strong at this age, this type of bullshi! will ruin a team. Pick your friends kid, play the sh!t out of them while all the other teams get better. Bravo!

The kid might an AP, but from what I hear, he's yet to play even 1 game with the U14 Green team. This is a bogus decision by LJK. It will not work, as the kid can barely compete in AA. Politics yet again! It's unfair to put the kid in that situation. Does daddy think he's going to be any kind of factor? He will not and it will be obvious from day one!

The coach/family is apparently wonderful. Have heard the same thing about being an AP, went to a couple practices but that’s it. Maybe it all works out for them and the team. At this point, at least half of the current team is looking at other options for next year, with EMC actively looking to grab a few. likely a poor decision by LJK board to place this guy as a AAA coach but only time will tell.

LJK will be fine next year. Middle of the pack and there's nothing wrong with that!

Anyone who knows anything about EMC will avoid it. Nothing changing over there. CL nephew now coaching the team. Being a top kid at LJK, playing good minutes, jumping on the PP and PK is better development than being second, third or Fourth fiddle to the EMC inner posses kids
