Pick your friends kid, play the sh!t out of them while all the other teams get better. If he isn’t the top 2 or 3 in that age group AA then people have the right to question the decision. Is the player a top end AA player? Are there others that would deserve that nod? All very legit questions. Not chirpingGuest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 7:02 pm See this is where all you short sided people get it wrong!
Listening to all the noise!
3 years ago…he AP’d for the age group up. Last year, AAA AP and this year, AP’ing for U14 Green. So get your facts straight!
ND is a very valuable Coach, with an almost undefeated record since LJK U10!
Not Allowed about Hockey Canada, Alliance, Local Organizations…but chirping 12/13 year old kids is just pathetic!
At Elgin the coach picks bench before tryouts. 3/4 assistant coach kids can be the bottom 3 on the team but are all guaranteed spots before stepping on the ice and they get more ice time. London is known to have quality coaches at AAA, they make mistakes on occasion but they do right by players.
What about RD??
Or in past years when all parents on the bench SB? GP? CL? Do all their kids incl. RD deserve the ice time they have over the years?

The coach/family is apparently wonderful. Have heard the same thing about being an AP, went to a couple practices but that’s it. Maybe it all works out for them and the team. At this point, at least half of the current team is looking at other options for next year, with EMC actively looking to grab a few. likely a poor decision by LJK board to place this guy as a AAA coach but only time will tell.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 10:42 pmThe kid might an AP, but from what I hear, he's yet to play even 1 game with the U14 Green team. This is a bogus decision by LJK. It will not work, as the kid can barely compete in AA. Politics yet again! It's unfair to put the kid in that situation. Does daddy think he's going to be any kind of factor? He will not and it will be obvious from day one!Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2025 7:02 pm See this is where all you short sided people get it wrong!

Wishing everyone the best is okay too! It’s also okay to stay in your lane with less opinions. I hope all the teams are strong next yearGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 7:33 amThe coach/family is apparently wonderful. Except it will be the way it is now. One very strong team, 3 somewhat close behind, gap, and then the rest. A couple teams will swap some players but overall, we'll see much of the same. Go to where you are happy and going to be developed. Minor hockey is short and we are already on the tail end of it.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2025 9:03 amWishing everyone the best is okay too! Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 1:23 pmAnyone who knows anything about EMC will avoid it. Nothing changing over there. CL nephew now coaching the team. Being a top kid at LJK, playing good minutes, jumping on the PP and PK is better development than being second, third or Fourth fiddle to the EMC inner posses kidsGuest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 12:47 pm Sounds like LJK will get the bottom EMC kids as EMC is calling the top LJK kids to offer "conversations".
LJK will be fine next year. Middle of the pack and there's nothing wrong with that!

As usual... EMC living rent free in your head. I bet that's all you think about as you struggle to sleep at night.
Elgin-Middlesex has a great group of kids and dedicated coaches and parents. Stop the lies!! Go Canucks Go!!!
Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
Belan back for U14 in Sarnia??!! HOW?! Worst coach in the Alliance! What a complete joke.
Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
Dude, there is open borders now, why do you care? Are you one of those parents that blames the coach for all of your kids shortcomings? If you are, you are setting him up for failure. Your coach isn’t the reason your kid isn’t as good as you thought! Go to a new team with open borders and find out that the coach will be different and the results will be the same. Stop passing the loser mentality on to the next generation.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 12:42 pm Belan back for U14 in Sarnia??!! HOW?! Worst coach in the Alliance! What a complete joke.
Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
BOB was only worthwhile in year 1. I cant imagine any team actually having even half the team as the actual top kids in their respective leagues.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 6:00 pm Alliance got any chance at winning BOB?
