Unfortunately for some kids on other teams, this reshuffling will lead to them getting de committed to. If you are a role player on a mid pack team, be prepared to get axed last minute, so have a back up plan. This is going to be an interesting spring before signing…
Every year NYR is blowing up and every year they win.aren’t you bored of losing and being wrong?

They won the regular season… playoffs are coming up, if you know who is leaving like the people in the know do, you will see why. It’s time to move on from PS, new coaches are entering the age group that are young and have new ideas, on much more prestigious orgs, who will offer free rides and far more exposure/perks as an org than NYR can. Playing for the same coach all 7 years teaches the kid to play the same way, how will they react when playing in a brand new system? Atleast thats the gripe from some parents…

What's wrong with kids that switch teams, my kid has been on two different teams in four years who cares, lots of kids do that and move around to teams, you have to do that to find a spot and logistics that work for the family. Nothing wrong with that at all. In fact you get exposure to different systems and pick up more things and learn different ways to play. It's not necessarily a bad thing unless you are tribal and think loyalty is the best way which tells me your IQ is just over room temperature.

MM coach. Google him! We've been to a few of his skates and he's great. Problem is the Majors only have one team that's been successful (2010) in the last few years.

But as a coach, he might be the best in the age group.

Nothing wrong with switching teams like you have. I as well have had my kid on 2 teams in 4 years. The problem is guys like decommizio who's been on 3 (maybe more) teams while also having decommitted from the other 9 at some point, or bailen, I mean Whalen who's been on can't count that high and also decommitted from all teams or the new kid on the titans who's irrelevant but I think has been on the most teams in total and most teams in the same year multiple times. These are the guys that are the problem.

He took the 2009 Majors from 9-23-4 in U15 to 7-24-2 in U16?

Best coach in the age group? Great hockey resume though.

Coaches are not loyal, you are FOOL if you are. END OF STORY! They don't develop they recruit and you should be doing the same every year for your child's ice-time. 100% stupid if you don't take that approach. Unless you're content with whats being offered of course. Nothing wrong with that either.
