Nats - quietly recruiting kids but more spots offered than available meaning some of the existing players will be on the way out. Fully expect this team to be the top team next season.

JRC - losing 2 kids means nothing. They will find top players from other teams.

DMF - counting on tier 2 kids and trying to bring in decommits from a team very quietly and have tried to keep it hush but word is out. Heard they also tried to bring some YK kids but got turned down.

NYR - no tier 1 Stars kids going here, skates had only tier 2 stars and a few kids who committed from other teams are committing elsewhere now.

Rebels - their top commit might be leaving for a better option.
There are a lot of great kids playing 2016 and it will be as competitive as any other age group. A few top teams, a few middle (great teams) and a few lower end and 1-2 that are unfortunately uncompetitive. Nats haven't overcommitted, JRC will be amazing regardless if 1 l-2 players decides to leave as they are super deep, VK will be tough to play with good structure and a great core and the Marlies have a lot of talent. Thats the top 4. Should be fun!!

Two teams in real trouble at this time are NYR and Sens. Nobody wants to go these teams right now and Sens will probably get some Mississauga kids in the end.

You know nothing about Sens. Only 1-2 spots left…as someone said above, call the coach and don’t feed info from this forum.

I’ve heard stories that teams have underagers. I don’t think the 17 group is any good. Who are these lower teams?

There are a couple solid 17's. A year is a long time maturity wise but let's see how they do.

Every age group has kids that are capable of playing up, citing that an entire age group “isn't any good” is ridiculous. Who cares what others do, presumably their parents are doing what they think is best for their kid and every situation is unique.
