Seriously?! Stop!

As noted from most teams, we do not deserve these points and MR won these points fair and square. I am working with as many contacts as possible to get their respective teams to not accept the defaulted points from MR. If we all ban together we will make the G aware what a ridiculous ruling/rule they have in place for a very innocent mistake. We will also show that it doesn't pay to 'Rat' out a team. Lets hope HVS parent realizes the mistake and not accepts the points from MR.
World needs more people who think like you that’s the right thing to do and a good lesson for the kids don’t except things you don’t deserve at the cost of others.
It really not that deep
Is this possible? Does anyone know if a team can refuse the 1-0 default and give the points back to MR???

Hiding what? Why would they go through all of this of someone did it on purpose? What could possibly be gained?? Doesn't make sense at all, especially since he had his certifications and VSC. The question i have is, if MR knew that they could lose all their points by appealing the one loss, was the decision to appeal put to a parent vote? Did the parents know the the potential consequences of an appeal?
This is the big question that everyone seems to be intentionally avoiding. If they knowingly signed off on an incorrect game sheet 14 times, then a one loss penalty seems really reasonable. Why not admit the mistake to the kids, explain why it happened and what you're doing to make sure it doesn't happen again, and then accept the loss to show the kids that we need to take responsibility for our actions?

I would love for someone with some first hand insight to explain why the organization didn't do this. This would all be in the rearview mirror by now. It makes it seem like the organization thought the rules didn't apply to them. And don't tell me it was an understandable administrative mistake unless the reports that someone signed off on false game sheets more than a dozen times aren't true.

I still think the penalty is too harsh, but it seems like it could have been avoiding by owning up to their mistakes.

All the penalties the GTHL gives are harsh. Kids give a dirty look to another player and they get 8 games. It’s become ridiculous with this woke agenda.

It would not be possible. It's not in the rulebook and would never occur. If the game was being played and the other team forfeited against MR, then yes. But it ain't gonna happen.

Can a team declare a forfeit against MR after the fact ?

The greatest learning experience about this entire MR trainer/14 Losses is that being a RAT doesn't pay. It is fitting that HVS finishes in ninth place and HVS did not get enough 'benefit' to vault themselves into a playoff position. Kids/parents/league officials/hockey enthusiasts/fans .. being a RAT never pays.

Omg 🤦‍♂️ honestly how can you MR parents be so so so dense to think that's the greatest learning out of all of this?????? I really hope your kids are more intelligent than you are and they take away the right lessons from your failures.
