Are you saying TA is committing to new recruits before cutting current players? Disgusting if true.
No one is getting cut yet, try outs are in May.

1. SIR
2. NT
3. TA
4. FH
5. VRE
6. TRT
7. LF
8. WH

Quarters:
SIR (1) v WH (8) - SIR in 3 games
NT (2) v LF (7) - NT in 4 games
TA (3) vs TRT (6) - TA in 5 games
FH (4) vs VRE (5) - VRE in 5 games

Semi's:
SIR v VRE - SIR in 3 games
TA vs NT - NT in 5 Games

Finals:
SIR (1) v NT (2) - SIR in 5 games
I think LF beats NT in round one, and then LF loses to TA in round 2. TA vs SIR in the finals. And that finals will be a coin toss!
Agree that LF beats NT. TRT or FH vs SIR in the finals

VRE just beat TA 4-1. Standings has VRElisted in 2nd over NT. Both have same record, is t head to head the tie breaker?

Both won games 7-0 but NT won the second game 2-1. Shouldn’t NT be second then?

Yes, and I think LF should finish ahead of TRT under the same method.

TR has more wins, that’s the first tie breaker even over head to head.

Think I disagree. See the below from the GTHL rule book. Doesn’t this loop have an unbalanced schedule since not every team plays the same team the same # of times?

e) When two Teams are tied for a playoff position at the completion of an unbalanced schedule:

(i) utilizing the games between the two Teams, the Team that won the most games shall be awarded the higher position.
(ii) if still tied after (i) above, utilizing all games of the regular season schedule played between the two Teams, divide the total goals for by the total number of goals (for and against), with the Team having the highest percentage being awarded the higher position. Example:
For: 10 goals
Against: 4 goals
Percentage: 10/(10+4) = 0.714
(iii) if still tied after (i) and (ii) above, a one-game playoff will be played to determine which Team is awarded the higher position.

I wonder if tiebreakers for seeding only show up on the playoffs page of the GTHL standings, but not on the standings page? Using the rules above, NT still gets the 2nd seed, but will play TR. And the 3-6 series will be VRE v LF.

So I think things are set. Will be a great first round.

SIR vs WH - SIR in 3. Won’t be close.
NT vs TRT - TRT in 4. NT goalie may be able to steal this one but TRT has had NT’s # all season.
VRE vs LF - VRE in 5. I think these two teams split their season series if you include tournaments. LF goalie gives them a chance but I think VRE’s top end players carry them. Will be close though.
FH vs TA - FH in 5. Tightest series of the bunch. Both teams playing well as of late but TA’s big loss today is concerning. Total coin flip but I think FH takes it.
