Have Aeros lost to Forest Hill this season?Guest wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 6:00 pm So I think things are set. Will be a great first round.
SIR vs WH - SIR in 3. Won’t be close.
NT vs TRT - TRT in 4. NT goalie may be able to steal this one but TRT has had NT’s # all season.
VRE vs LF - VRE in 5. I think these two teams split their season series if you include tournaments. LF goalie gives them a chance but I think VRE’s top end players carry them. Will be close though.
FH vs TA - FH in 5. Tightest series of the bunch. Both teams playing well as of late but TA’s big loss today is concerning. Total coin flip but I think FH takes it.

Why? NT had three cracks at TR during the season and only beat them once.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 10:29 pm TRT have a week of hockey left, NT in 3
Of the top 5 seeds none is entering the playoffs with less momentum than NT.
Win this series? Sure. In a sweep? No chance.

All bets are off on this division. Tightest one in the G. Best of luck to all.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2025 6:00 pm So I think things are set. Will be a great first round.

Loop is not as tight as people think. Teams with high end talent will ride their big horses more in the playoffs than they do in the regular season. NT, TRT and LF don’t have this and are in tough.
Re: 2010 GTHL A East
Coaches in A have no idea how to “ride their big horses.” They think it means giving half the roster all the ice time. Pretty soon your best players are exhausted and a few try to do it all themselves. Riding the big horses is about extra ice time on the margins, special teams, line matching, face-off strategy etc. There are zero coaches operating at that level.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 7:29 am Loop is not as tight as people think. SIR will win the East because they play a team game with good structure and consistent effort. The more their opponents lean on a few big horses, the shorter the series will be.
