And thats a wrap on the '24-25 regular season!
Interesting results on the final Sunday
VP and MB beat up on 2 non-playoff teams no surprises there
TR makes a statement beating the higher seeded TE
But the big game was HVS ending with a win over MNS. Too little too late for HVS though missing the final playoff spot by 1 point, and not a good look for MNS heading into playoffs series.
Good luck to all the teams heading to the playoffs and to the Clancy! Hope all the players have a lot of fun playing exciting hockey over the next month or more.
Big decision tomorrow if Rattlers will win their appeal and get their points back, any thoughts on this ?
What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?
Decision will be made tomorrow and the outcome will determine whether I will return to work or stay on medical stress leave.

MR wins over VP on Friday was huge. With HVS winning today, if MNS had lost they'd be out of playoffs, and the appeal on Monday would be a much bigger issue because then it would be make it or don't. Now it's just about seeding so odds are better they win the appeal to make playoffs fair for all the teams, since MR would be in the playoffs regardless.

And I’m also on antidepressants over this whole situation

I stay up all night worrying about the MR stuff and can’t sleep a wink. When I do finally get to sleep I have nightmares about the GTHL not giving the kids back their wins. I had to go on stress leave at work it was affecting my work performance. My doctor told me don’t come out here and read any discussion about the matter and I can’t do that it’s all I think about at every moment.

Very clever and funny .. enjoyed.
I am just glad there is an appeal process and all facts can be presented to make a proper judgement. The G will realize their rules are too harsh and sounder minds will change them moving forward. The best thing will be to reverse all 14 games to show everyone that being a RAT doesn't pay.
The appeal today has nothing to do with the GTHL. It's with the OHF. The GTHL worked hard to try to have it denied but the OHF said they would hear it. When the GTHL heard this, they then said they needed more time to prepare and wanted it delayed past the point when anything would change. Even yesterday it was supposed to happen last night and got delayed in the afternoon until today. Apparently that was the GTHL again. So you can draw your own conclusions from this.

This isn't completely accurate because the G clearly set aside the.playoff schedule to not start until Thursday/Friday in order to give enough time for the appeal to be resolved. If they really disregarded it they'd have the playoff schedule for as early as Tuesday/Wednesday. Playoffs already starting a week later then they wanted, so they wouldn't delay further unless they were giving considering to this process.
