Who's the coach we should most stay away from?

Stay Away
A. Esmatyar
E. Cella
R. Edwards
J. Farrone
M. Lamanchia

Any who should we gravitate to?

M. Chemello
J. Dynak
J. Venuto
R. Edwards
Esmatyar is on the same level as Lamacchia... horrible human with a nephew also on the team that plays every second shift when he should be riding the pine.

Cella is not a coach, he owns the titans organization.

Heard good things about Chemello

Dynak had it out with my wife.

Farrone is very ugly.

Don't know about the rest.

Are teams all set for next year or most still looking ? Top teams most likely done but mid pack ?

Former Reps parent here (were leaving the team by choice). If you want participation ribbons then this is your best bet.

This group will never win because it's ok to be mediocre and the coaches reward that. Have fun

Teams are all set by now. If you don’t have a spot by now you won’t be getting one.

Not true. Lot's of teams looking to de-commit your kid and upgrade and lots of kids committed to more than one team. Happens every year. This must be your first rodeo.

Reps will have it tough next year with all the downgrades they added to the team. Lots of Jari Byrski favors that unfortunately the coaches will have to eat. Another failed program unfortunately.

Has to be a few teams still looking ? Coaches are still making changes since everything was pushed back this year around open borders

I guarantee no team is fully set

Let’s think about this, the OMHA players coming to play for the TRW, regardless of where they are coming from will have to pay double the price they are currently paying to play hockey, only to play on a bottom 4 team in the G. This team will potentially be a bottom 2 team. Where can I sign up for that?

At the age of 10 years old, If the opportunity was with a top 6 team, it makes a little more sense!

The players coming to the TRW are TT players and mid pack teams OMHA players. So players from an 11th place team and players from mid pack OMHA teams.

Clearly not very smart people!
They will be bottom 2 guaranteed. I don't mean that as trash talk. Couple players from OMHA AAA team, couple TT players (not the good ones), and some AA. The few TRW players worth returning are leaving. That is a pretty big hole to climb out of.
Let's save this comment and the other ones similar to it, then revisit in a year from now and see how it's aged. Reality is that this is coming from a G parent that has no clue of the talent outside of his bubble, or an OMHA family that is bitter because they weren't included in the conversation.

TRW will not finish lower than 7th next year, guaranteed. Do the families joining believe that they will be the top team in the G? Answer is "no".
With the exception of WW and NCP (for different reasons) and speaking generally, all of the OMHA East teams have at least 2-5 players that other teams would love to have. Typically the skill drop- off is swift once you move past those 2-5 players (again, generally speaking).

Why would anyone not want the current bottom feeder to make drastic changes to improve their program, thus making the whole loop stronger? The attention to this TRW subject seems super odd.

From reading the thread, there seems to be various commentary on the character and integrity of new leadership taking over. Due diligence highly encouraged, as history has a weird way of repeating itself. . A reasonable questions to ask prior to making a commitment to this group;

What is the estimated team budget?
Who will be the team manager next season? If a non parent, WHY?

Due diligence highly encouraged. History has a weird way of repeating itself.
100% this. Buyer beware.
All well and good but if you're desperate for a spot, it won't make a difference. At the sat skate lots of kids on current AAA teams that are not asking them back. They'll anything vs. going to AA.

$12K + budget next season, add in extra travel costs and your in for $14+K . OMHA family’s paid $5,500 on average. U11 hockey! LMFAO.

M. Chemello

On this list Ammal Esmatyar is the absolute worst person and everything that’s wrong with minor hockey.

He’s a known nightmare through various age groups. I’m surprised this guy is allowed to be around kids. Just goes to show you how desperate parents can be to get on any AAA team. Ammal attracts a certain kind of parent.

At the other end of the spectrum is Chemello who is a stand up person.
