Wonder if any of the 8 play in teams are going to be this year's HV...would be great to see (no matter how unlikely)
ST is coming on strong back half of the year with some surprising games against top teams.
The only issue is not having any talent
Right. HV dad is back.
ST is who they are talking about I think
ST is in a group with MNS, VR and DD Any of them could take it. Will be close.

Statistically an upset is more likely this year than last year, it may not happen to the same extent as last year but I’m gonna say playin winners don’t go 3-0-0.

Seems like the teams are all pretty close. Obviously a couple teams are on the weaker side but anyone can win any night. Will be fun to see

ST or VR will come out of playin in that pod.

MNS after having somewhat of a Cinderella season have turned into the pumpkin everyone thought they would be.

DD are just terrible.

It is kind of confusing, but I think all it really means is that the Toros are looking for some players
I think the GTHL really needs to look at how all the 'moving around' plays out...at the end of the day for a lot of teams, a lot of kids, and a lot of parents it spoils what should be the most fun and competitive time of the year - the playoffs. Instead, you have teams that have checked out, players that are already thinking about the jersey for next year vs playing for the one they are currently wearing...not to mention the animosity it creates in the dressing room among kids who are 10+years old. There has to be a way that tryouts can held in a fair an equitable way where kids can finish their years before worrying about next year...
There is no way, deal with it, move on
Yup it’s not easy but nothing you can do. Just get with the program or be left on a bottom team because you waited for official tryouts.
Hate to break it to you but it's likely all the moving around has contributed to the lack of good hockey in this division...there are 4 teams out of 14 that have won more than 50% of their games...i am not mathematician but that means 70% of the teams in this division are not good teams..so you tell me how the 'program' is working out for these kids...
Good thing you’re not a mathematician because you would suck at it LOL. there is absolutely no correlation between player turnover over and team performance. MB has been replacing half of their players each year and look at where they are.

MB have had the luxury of being the top team since U10. Therefore have been able to recruit the best AA and AAA players who have dropped down to chase championships.

To say they develop their own players is somewhat of an exaggeration.

That’s amazing for ST - I think VP took a day off to get ready to lay a beating to the rest of the west

Agree! Which ever team did well in the 1st year of the G were able to attract good players. If DD came 1st overall in U10, they would be the top team right now. Not trying to take away from the coaches all around this loop. Just saying that its easy to win when you have skilled players on your team from the start.
