Didn’t a parent from another team call a player something similar? What were the repercussions of that situation?

CMs parents filed a complaint with alliance. Video and witness statements were provided and proved CM to be a liar so nothing comes of it other than the defamation lawsuit against CMs family.

Except I was there and I’m from another team, so completely unbiased.. saw the whole thing just outside of the dressing rooms as the kids were coming off the ice. The kid didn’t lie. Word on the street is the accused tried to shut everyone up with some big scary legal papers. No one goes that far out of their way to cover up something if they didn’t do anything wrong. Not worth anyone’s time or money. Defamation case, that would be impossible because of what I saw and heard in my opinion. Making the statement of “video and witness statements were provided” seem completely false.

Except at that point, she didn't have any clue about what was "supposedly" said to her kid so it was very off side. I followed BJ out, he only talked to DL on his way out of the rink and an EMC parent quickly on his way out of the arena. Was never near the kids dressing rooms. I don't understand why EMC can't just leave the entire family alone. They left. Be happy and move on.

This is really really sad and pathetic. How embarrassing Elgin. This is bigger than hockey, the kids are watching, be better.
