2009 east AA
Re: 2009 east AA
Just saw the hit via Live barn, def should have been a penalty. maybe 2-3 games max. The result was unfortunte.
To succeed in hockey and like you need to play a hard heavy game and TRT does that. They also have the skill back it up. Don't complain that you cant keep up with them b/c they play that way. TA just isn't in the same league as the top 3 teams in AA for this reason.
Everyone wishes the TA all the best in a quick and full recovery, but you got to be a little stronger on your skates and always have your head on a swivel.
If that dad attacked my bench, he would have received a boot to the forehead once he opened that door up. Spartan Style.

If that dad came at our bench, he’d be outta there quicker than Justin jumping ship to coach younger kids in AAA.
Re: 2009 east AA
Guess some guys never played sports when they were younger. Living through their goon kids now. Do you guys do to your sons the same as your daddy did to you in the basement with the potato in your mouth to muzzle the noise?
Or is that why you wear glasses. Cause something got in your eye?

Re: 2009 east AA
I’d love to see your response if it was your son convulsing on the ice. I don’t think you’d be saying 2-3 games max. Hit is flat our dirty, Puck is off the players stick, he’s defenceless and off balance and not to mention he was hit on the blindside on the back side of his shoulder. 13 is a dirty dirty dirty play, long before this incident, he’s been suspended numerous times. As a player who weighs 225 at age 15 you should probably be more mindful when a player is in a vulnerable situation and ease up when there can be harm caused, he clearly is incapable of that and deserves to serve a lengthy suspension for ending a kids minor hockey career. TR parents sit here all day deflecting and try to move the focus away from the hit towards the reaction. I can promise if any of you watched your son convulsing on the ice you would have done a lot more. And for you clowns who think this is about winning and losing you’re also delusional, the health and wellness of a 15 year old is significantly more important than your kids abilities in AA. I understand your concerns, and I don’t want to take away from the seriousness of the situation. However, I’ve noticed that the term “convulsing” has been used repeatedly in your comments. As a medical professional, I have to say that I did not see any evidence of convulsions during the incident. It’s important to be cautious with the language we use, as exaggerating the situation might not help anyone in the long run.
There’s no question that the child was injured, and no one is minimizing that. My question is, why would a parent who knows their child is significantly smaller and less equipped to handle physical play allow them to continue in a league where hitting is part of the game? If the child is struggling to keep up, why not consider a level or league with no hitting, such as house league? This could be a much safer and more suitable environment for them.
The focus should always be on the well being of the child, not just performance or trying to push them into AAA tryouts that may not be in their best interest. As parents, we should prioritize our kids health and development above everything else, and I think it’s time to think about what’s best for the child in this situation.
Re: 2009 east AA
Or put them in net like you did? There is a doctors report going to the G. To have him banned for life. But wait. This is his first offense. So he should be fine.

Oh, Twitch Dad, really? You're out here sharing wild fantasies now? We all knew you were an obnoxious big mouth, but this is a whole new level of weird. Save that stuff for someone who’s asking, alright?
