Shut up and just have fun. You aren’t going to play meaningful hockey past u16, if you make it there. Ask people who know hockey. Agents, NHL scouts, and upper management in pro hockey. All 6 of these kids have been identified already. You are only here for the short term so enjoy it. Make friends, have good memories of your hockey days.
Please there are a bunch of kids you missed that are talented and you can't make any determination until two more years and see how everyone does with hitting. Get out of here you high school girls starting little rumours like bitc hes

Which teams won tonight?

lots of time before u16. Those kids will all be top players still, but there are emerging talents that will be better come u16. NYR best player is not on that list, CL and MA are also in that category and so many more that will blossom over the next 3 years.

Whoever puts in more work will be in that first round come OHL draft.
Agree with the above. That list is way too early. There are kids in the g that you dismiss that will surpass because the kid loves the game more than their dad, they want it more than their peers, they have talent vs early start and support of the sport or are early bloomers that will disappear over time. They’ve already been identified lol more like agents giving false hope

The only thing identified here is, you are a whack job.

The key factor, often overlooked by many, is which players are mentally tough enough to continue the journey. The need to stay focused, mute all the noise around you, not hit their apex too early AND live up to the expectations at the next level is what determines who wins.

At some point 98% of the players will not be the best player on the team...they may move from the 1st line to maybe the 3rd or 4th line....you see it at the World Jrs every year...some player can manage it...some really struggle.

What I have noticed when talking to coaches, ex players, agents etc about what is a common trait of successful hockey players, it is over all athletic ability. The players that go furthest are incredibly coordinated, strong and have a brain for the game. Most hockey players are great runners, racket sports players, golfers, lacrosse, soccer, track and are incredibly strong in the gym. I see a lot of kids that are good over all athletes but need to catch up with Time on ice and a lot of kids who are good hockey players, but are uncoordinated and have skinny frames,.

Those kids will flip flop over the next few years and the real athletes will pull ahead.
