Hey RE where is your 3 players with over a 100pts now. DMF have only scored 11 goals in the last 5 games. 3 top ? Players on DMF score 70% of their pts vs the bottom end teams. Trust me the scouts now this. How many pts do you 3 100pts players have the last 5 games vs two good teams.

How does DMF not have 41 in the shoutout.
He has been the best player by far for DMF

Give it a rest dad. You’ve said that 10 times already!
TT goalie was fantastic. The refs will have to do better at giving a helping hand when help is needed. DMF have been chosen by GTHL and OHL social media. They won't allow an upset. Book it.
Agreed. TT goalie proved once again he is the top goalie in the age group.
86 had a rough one.
Did 41 play? Did not notice him.
88 still leads the league for turnovers.
17 and 71 were excellent but can't do it all by themselves.
Same guy posting over and over again.
TT undefeated playoff run is still intact.

Strong kid. Not a ton of offence though. He will make a great 3rd liner in the O

86 not getting it done. Frustration setting in.

DMF has not been able to score because TT has changed the way DMF needs to attack to score. This has allowed a good goalie to make the stops.

JE has drilled the same tendencies and system into his minor hockey players all season and the ones that have been with him the longest do the same things. The TT coach and his staff have picked that up and prepared their team plus the TT forwards have more grit.

DMF cannot change as JE has coached his kids to do the same thing every time on zone entries, PP and even the way they counter. And it has worked until the day it doesn’t and the DMF coach can’t change. Happened in the Silver Stick as well.

At the end of the day TT has more skill and definitely more team grit plus they have the better goalie.

TT is actually giving DMF hard areas to score from but most of the DMF forwards won’t go there because they are not used needing to do that and actually they look like they don’t want to get hit. Especially their “top” 2 lines.

And hence the calls to play 41’s line more as that line does try to create. But JE can’t do that because the agent on his bench has influence on who gets minutes and he has to take care of his nephew.

JE knows this and will just yell more when really he does not know how to get his “top” kids to change the way they need to play and score some goals in this series.

Maybe DMF can do it down the road in an OHL CUP game but it will be harder as these TT games are now on film and teams will prepare for them differently.

Good on TT for getting a coach this season that can prepare his players for the next level and has experience at higher levels in the game. Cost big bucks but looks like a good decision.

When looking back TT and if they win it will be the decision to bring in LH that will be remembered and no one will remember DMF or JE for that matter. LH will have stepped in for his 3 kick at u16 in 3 years and did the job. Well played and got well paid.

JE will now go back to coaching little kids to do the same thing every shift with his brother’s other kid’s team and get paid by a couple rich parents.

Devastating for JE who literally has this team as his only thing in life. He could go back to filling the water bottles for MS but MS had moved up to the OHL and JE needs to go overplay his other nephew.

At the end of the day it’s minor hockey and it’s nice to see good coaching and development. Some of these TT players have certainly went up in the draft order by getting up 2-0 on a wagon.

Minor hockey talk post of the year right year FOR WASTING YOUR TIME WRITING A NOVEL THAT MAKES NO SENSE. Nothing you said was accurate at all. DMF has literally controlled the games, both of them.

Game 1 - titans took it to DMF period 1 then got worked the next 2 periods. Still lost. It happens, it’s ok lol. Owen Leonard was the difference, that’s it that’s all.

Game 2 - DMF controlled all 3 periods only to fall in a shootout. Again, shootouts are what they are.

At the end of the day you have the top two teams battling it out ending the games by low scores.

O.L has been the difference and only that. Good on him for it as his stock will be rising.

The long novel post was simply a J.E bash for no reason. Sad really.

Don’t count DMF out at all. If they continue to play like they have been they will eventually solve the goalie.

Shut up fudgepacker. Not Rocket Science.....TT clogging up the middle and keeping shots to outside. Line 1 and 2 not keeping it simple and cycling low to high to open it up. Line 3 is cycling and playing good basic hockey but still no good chances
OL playing good.
Some top 6 dmf guys just don't hunt pucks or compete hard enough like past dmf guys .

Same thing trw did to jrc.

Everyone can throw shade on JE and RE but at the end of the day through 2 games TT has been the better team. Both of these teams have the biggest bankrolls in minor hockey history so it's no surprise they're there at the end but it's clear one is focused solely on winning and the other might have another agenda.

Has OL been the difference maker? Possibly

Has 86 been invisible through the semifinals and finals? Looking that way

Are 41 and 66 DMF top players but not getting the ice time they deserve. Yes

Is LH a better coach than JE? That will be decided after Friday night and how well DMF adjusts or TT continues to win

Does anyone know who won the Minor Midget playoffs in 2018? No because none of this really matters when looking at the big picture
