VRE on a 9 game heater.
Why is NT struggling? Didn’t they handle VRE easily in the regular season?
Don't know about easily but they were definitely more competitive and were able to control play for long periods. NT looks a bit lost at the moment, need to find their way and quickly. Though credit to VRE, they are marching to the conference finals with rock-solid play.

That’s definitely not the case. SIR looking for defense upgrades (86 from WH) and wingers also. If everyone is hoping they’re back they’ll get a rude awakening later.
I chatted with their coach last week. They have potentially 1 spot open could (either defense or forward). No skates just have to come to tryouts in May. Apparently they didn’t need to run skates because of the amount of interest they had.

VRE is getting 4 or 5 goals a game, even against goalies on LF and NT who had great seasons. VRE forwards are exposing some weaker D. Not sure they’ll have the same success if they go on to play SIR or FH. Both have much stronger D than LF and NT.

Personally, I would love to see a Vaughn v Scarborough match up. Both teams don't like each other.

VRE is 2-1-0 vs SIR this year, both scoring 8 goals. Would be a doozie of a match up if it they end up as the final 2 teams standing.

VRE 4-1 SIR
VRE 4-1 SIR
VRE 0-6 SIR

Pump the brakes - we still need to beat a very tough FH team.

Sounds like you got the “official” version. One spot open, but could be either defense or forward. Keep everyone interested, and keep cards close to chest. Anyone going into tryouts hoping they would make the team will be on the outside looking in. And yes they’ve had outside interest, and they are talking/committing to players on other teams.

Filling coaches pockets? If you pay 1 extra cent for your kid to play A u16 hockey, you’re a moron.
