What team has free tryouts?

That money doesn’t go to the coach. Ice isn’t free.
If you have 15 players plus 5 trying out, @$20 each you net $400. Overtime is anywhere from 350-500 per hour. Not exactly a money maker.

Congrats to VRE. That’s quite the run! Gonna be a great finals against SIR or FH who are only done game 1.

VRE would likely prefer SIR over FH based on regular season results. I think VRE has only beaten FH once, maybe twice, in the last 2 years. You could also argue the opposite I guess, VRE blew out FH in their last game while getting steamrolled by SIR.

An SIR vs VRE series would bring out the worst in both teams and would get ugly fast.
