Me about this site. What a tire fire this year is going to be.
Is anyone a good
Coach in the G???

If you just committed then your coach is good right???

No clue now ! They all get slandered so badly on here it’s hard to sift through the crazy.

Coaches only get grilled from parents who's kids are not good enough and don't realize it yet. Those kids usually all end up on the same team by u12 anyways
They all have their pros and cons. Do what’s best for your kid.

JRC – Decent guy, parent coach to an underager, can and will always recruit well. Top-end kids will thrive in this environment.

DMF – Coach is a yeller, not for everyone but gets a lot out of his team. The team runs through one player. Good opportunity for others if leaving for the free TM/TBD Brick ride.

TM – Mixed reviews—you either love him or hate him. He’ll do everything in his power to win. Bottom players will not like this environment. Uncle coach and parent coach. Mostly relies on small-area skill drills.

TYN – decent guy, good program. Parent coach to a weaker player, which shouldn’t sit right with parents. One of the weaker coaches in U11. Will be replaced by U12.

NYR – Lacks in X’s and O’s but will push your player more than most in terms of individual skill development. Complete rebuild, but not a bad thing since that parent group was nuts.

VK – Dysfunctional group, will be replaced by DDM at the end of the season. Buyer beware.

RHC – Great guy and the best coach in training. Early in his professional development, but sometimes lacks the stones to make tough decisions independently.

MR – Yeller. 3/4 of the coaches are parents. Best in the U11 group in terms of X’s and O’s, but the program is geared more towards U16 and stifles creativity. Not the right environment for everyone.

MS – Nice guy, but the team will remain a bottom-end team due to an unwillingness to make hard decisions and doubling down on AA-caliber players.

TT – Great new coach, knows his stuff, but NYR crazies coming in could cause problems right away.

TRW – OMHA rebuild, which is a good thing. Cheap version of MR’s coaching style.
One of the most accurate posts based on whats going on around the G...only thing to add is these kids are 9/10 all of this will change and change again as they get older...relax, find a good coach who isn't taking all your money and who is willing to actually teach your kid about hockey and focus on the foundations. Keep it fun crazies :)

DDM taking VK? Is this the DDM from the 2014 nats?
DDM from JRC/Everest. Really makes no difference the VK organization is a joke these days.

Who cares. ZL is irrelevant when hitting starts. Kitchen and his long hair posey will run over him all day when the bodies start to fly.

To quote RL from DMF "Pylons don't hit Chinese skill players"

The parents who took off to tryout for brick teams this weekend, leaving their winter teams high and dry in the middle of playoffs shouldn't be allowed back for the rest of the year, shows zero commitment and if I'm those brick teams I'm cutting them right away, as why would I want a disloyal player on my brick team.

This will follow these kids forever and those parents that allowed this are in need of reality checks.

This is laughable knowing who wrote this. You sold your souls for your kid to be a brick kid.one of you even had to pay extra to be part of the program lol that will follow all of you and your kids much further then someone’s actions to follow their kids dreams and having enough charter to not buy their child’s spot. You guys are fuxking losers the whole gthl knows how sad you all are and always will be, enjoy your pitty party🤪 the reality check will be you not making it out of the round robin.

Because Ammal is the crappiest coach in Canada. Total loser who can’t run a bench, and literally benches his best players. Moron.
