lol. Who is this loser.

Another failed drywaller living out their high school beatings through their kids.
Oh, spare me your whiny attempts at proving you’re some kind of tough guy. Your pathetic jab about being “another failed drywaller” is as transparent as it is pitiable. It’s downright laughable that you stoop to this level, throwing around insults like a little boy desperate to feel powerful, when in reality your words only expose your own deep-seated insecurities and miserable existence.

You really think calling someone a loser and dragging your high school beatings into the mix makes you some kind of heavyweight? Newsflash: it just shows you’re too weak—emotionally and mentally—to stand on your own two feet. You’re nothing more than a sad, emasculated little man trying to cover up your failures with cheap, juvenile insults. So why don’t you take a long, hard look in the mirror and realize that your desperate, hollow attempts to tear someone else down only confirm you have zero business playing in the big leagues of conversation.

Your words reek of bitterness and inadequacy, and every syllable you spew is a reminder that you’re not fooling anyone. Grow up, shut your mouth, and stop trying to compensate for your own lack of worth by spewing meaningless insults—because right now, you’re nothing but a crumbling testament to your own pathetic mediocrity.
I am a tough guy in real life.

You’re a geek using chat-gpt to try and act smart. I bet you’ll do your kids university applications too.

Loser.
Oh, I know exactly who you are, and let’s be real—you’re not a tough guy. You’ve got a big mouth, and that’s about as far as it goes. And here you are, running it again, trying to convince everyone (including yourself) that you’re some kind of badass. But tough guys don’t need to announce it—they let their actions speak for themselves.

And while we’re at it, I’m sick of your shit. Sick of watching you walk around like you’re some top dog when in reality, you’re nothing more than the weakest one in the pit—loud, desperate, and constantly trying to convince everyone you matter. Your insecurities radiate off you like a bad stench—the hypocrisy, the narcissism, the sneakiness, the constant betrayal of people who once called you a friend. Your loyalty is as fake as your tough-guy act, and your pathetic attempts to belittle others only expose just how small and insignificant you really feel inside.

You thrive off tearing people down because deep down, you know you bring nothing of real value to the table. And now, once again, here you are, running your mouth in a desperate attempt to stay relevant. But let’s be real—everyone sees right through you. You’re not feared, you’re not respected, and the only thing you’ve actually built is a reputation for being a cowardly, two-faced joke.

And just like every other time you try to puff out your chest, after all your chirping and pathetic attempts at disrespect, you’ll do what you always do—fade into irrelevance. Because that’s what happens when you contribute nothing but negativity. People stop listening, stop caring, and eventually, you just disappear into the background, exactly where you belong.
But don’t the “best” kids from the Marlies get to go to the brick with TBD? Since he didn’t make the top 6 so must be a bottom player of the team why would he be missed?
He was NOT missed on the contrary… he can stay where he he flew off… no-one needs him…
Why are y'all Marlies parents so mad at BM , who cares , parents are toxic and the definition of irrelevant in the next 2 years.

Can’t speak for BM as a kid, but his parents are nightmares. Expect him to be on a different team each year until u16 since his parents believe there is no team or coach good enough for him.

Calm down Guido it’s not like someone just stole your last cheeseburger. Since the kids not missed who gives a f*** then. Move on with your life and go win some hockey. I hope this kid gets onto a team that will beat you all.

The kid is a slightly below average player. It’s sad and desperate that his parents are chasing some brick dream for what seems like themselves and not the kid. Even sadder because everyone can see what they’re doing. Instead of forcing the kid on to a brick team…. Save the money to use it for training…. He has a better chance to improve.

Guest wrote: Sat Mar 15, 2025 4:09 pm The parents who took off to tryout for brick teams this weekend, leaving their winter teams high and dry in the middle of playoffs shouldn't be allowed back for the rest of the year, shows zero commitment and if I'm those brick teams I'm cutting them right away, as why would I want a disloyal player on my brick team.

This will follow these kids forever and those parents that allowed this are in need of reality checks.
Oh, look, another self-righteous keyboard warrior foaming at the mouth over something that has absolutely nothing to do with them. Let’s get one thing straight—if your mid-pack kid ever got the slightest sniff at an opportunity like The Brick, you’d be the first one packing the car, skipping town, and selling your soul to make it happen. So spare us all the fake outrage and misplaced morality.

The reality is, elite hockey doesn’t revolve around your fragile sense of “team commitment.” If a kid is talented enough to get invited to The Brick, their development and future opportunities take priority—period. You don’t like it? Too bad. Maybe instead of whining about other people’s kids, you should focus on your own and figure out why they weren’t invited in the first place.

Also, let’s be real—if a kid is good enough for The Brick, their winter team should be grateful they had them at all. Maybe instead of whining about “loyalty,” you should focus on why your team can’t survive without a single player. Sounds like a you problem.

And to everyone else in this chat crying about what other families are doing—do us all a favor and keep your worthless opinions to yourself, because your pathetic whining and hollow moralizing only make you look like a huge piece of shit with no business taking up space in a conversation about real opportunities.
This post exemplifies what is wrong with the GTHL and the me-first Toronto attitude. Pulling a kid from a playoff game for a spring team tryout is very selfish. This is what happens when there is no loyalty or commitment to a team and the individual is the only priority.

I hope your kid has a fantastic time at an elite tournament in a mall in Edmonton. You are teaching him very bad life lessons and I can guarantee that if he develops your attitude, he will be playing for the same beer league team you are on now telling his buddies about how great he was at 10. If he doesn’t make it, that just makes it even more embarrassing. I have friends who scout, being a good teammate and not a selfish prick is something they look for. They also look for good families and values. They don’t care whether the kid played in a tournament for 10 year olds.

Let me give all you ego driven , delusional, rose coloured glasses wearing parents some real life experiences

I have 3 kids (09, 2012, 2015) we play in the omha. My 09 is in the bed hats right now and will be playing in the OHL cup as well in a few weeks. He will be drafted to the OHL , what round , really doesn't matter. We have spoken to 20 different scouts and everyone one of them asked family questions and what life outside of hockey is for us and our son. The biggest comments we hear from all scouts (NHL & OHL) are all about U15 & U16 seasons. They don't care about anything before that. So while the brick is cool it really is just lining the pockets of people who ultimately contribute nothing to your kids and despite what they say don't open any doors for them.

My kids never played brick and here we are about to be drafted to the OHL and a possible NHL late selection, good luck and stay sane.

That is awesome, good luck in the Red Hats and hopefully the OHF.

I will just add a bit more to your comment, the only thing scouts look at before U15/16 are red flags. One of which is playing for 5 different teams from U10 to U15…
