2010 GTHL A East
Re: 2010 GTHL A East
SIR didn’t just beat FH. Those three wins were all blowouts. VRE showed it won’t fold like FH. It was only a tie and the series has a long way to go. But VRE sent a message the way they got off the mat late in the game. Leaving the rink the SIR boys looked shook.

Guessing this is the weaselly VRE dad that was yelling at the sIR bench or is it the VRE goalie dad yelling at the VRE bench. Klass act VRE… Klassy with a K.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 8:04 pm SIR didn’t just beat FH. Those three wins were all blowouts. VRE showed it won’t fold like FH. Willowdale hawks goalie number 70 has brutal goggles and is such a Not allowed prick.

I've been to a few skates and have contacted others. These are my observations...
Panthers - believe it or not there was plenty of good talent at their skate last weekened.
Rangers - mostly select players and plenty of Goulding kids out.
Attack - coach non-responsive
Avs - was told to come to tryouts in May
Sharks - told to contact following playoffs
Eagles - told to come to tryouts but they may do a skate prior. There will be spots.
WM - no interest based on stories I've heard.
Willowdale ... new parent coach ... a bunch of turnover with team ... parent coach seems like a good guy and a knowledgable coach so improvements could be seen
YM ... who knows ... but they relied too heavily two seasons ago on a player that went to AA this past season and they over valued their team and crashed this year ... doesn't seem like they want to make some tough decisions on their team
Knights ... new coach ... replacing some of their weaker players ... should be better
Islanders ... dumpster fire ... new coach coming in is old Panther coach ... I'd stay away
WH ... rumour is that they are bringing in a bunch of AA players
Leaside .. haven't heard much
Ted Reeve ... only looking at AA players coming down
Aeros ... rumours of parent/dressing room issues ... read some of the posts coming out of the playoffs ... player left mid season and also during playoffs... but team always seems to do well though
Forest Hill ... rumour of top scorer coming down from AA team ...
VRE ... not sure ... but invite only to skates
NT ... not sure
SIR ... maybe one change... haven't heard of skates ... focused on finals.
WH - they picked up about 4x AA kids, but they are really A level players from LF and EE (EE kid hardly sees the ice), had a skate last week looked ok.
TRT - picked up TRT AA players, again they will be about the same
SIR - added 2 players, no skates

That typically is what happens when a team falls asleep for two minutes in the 3rd and allows the other team to tie the game, when by then it should have been running time. Cudos to VRE for not giving up, and their goalies making some of the most unbelievable saves to keep the game within reach.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 8:04 pm SIR didn’t just beat FH. And as always, the classy VRE dad who at the beginning of the game, with no animosity anywhere, saying loud enough for everyone to hear " get those dirty mother f *ckers"
Re: 2010 GTHL A East
I've seen adults on both teams setting bad examples for the kids. Let's stop the finger pointing and just enjoy what's shaping up to be a fantastic battle.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 1:22 pmThat typically is what happens when a team falls asleep for two minutes in the 3rd and allows the other team to tie the game, when by then it should have been running time.
