At least VRE didn’t have to make a backroom deal to get out of round 1 against the 8th place team. We won our series on the ice, not through sketchy coaching shenanigans. SIR wouldn’t even be in the finals without their backroom schemes.

You still crying? WH is in the rear view. Keep choking on the exhaust fumes. Big dogs are playing in the final

It’s honestly embarrassing how the Scarborough Ice Raiders’ parents are acting like it’s the World Cup. They’re running their mouths like their team is some unstoppable force, but the reality is that they’re about to get their asses whooped by the big dawgs, VRE. These parents need to shut their pathetic mouths and stop acting like their team is anything more than mediocre.

The Raiders are in over their heads, and their parents’ overconfidence is only making things worse. The big dogs in the league are about to put them in their place, and no amount of trash talk from the stands is going to change that. It’s time for the parents to stop living in a fantasy and let their team face the reality of what’s to come. They’ll get a harsh dose of the competition when they face VRE, and it’s going to be ugly.

Y'all are waaaaay too invested in Single A hockey, I'm embarrassed for you. Two games in and 1 goal difference, should be a great series of, and let's be honest here, mid-level competitive hockey. Try and enjoy it, you've only got a couple years left.

Dont be a hater, let the parents enjoy what to them is the equivalent of the Stanley Cup. Things are just heating up!

This is as an uneducated comment as can be, a big problem in what has become youth hockey. The dream of their kid making it to the show, the endless private skates, the money out the door, the time and travel to accomplish same dreams. Here is the reality, 99.99% of kids are not making it anywhere except mens league at Canlan. This goes from AAA all the way down to House League.

We are all parents, and what does that typically define as, wanting the best for our kids, to watch our kids perform at their best, whether it be school, sports, outside activities or how they conduct themselves. Yet, there is constant comments about why do parents take A hockey so seriously, its not because we think they are going to hoist the stanley cup, but at the level the play, winning is their stanley cup, so why do continually mock parents routing for the best end result of their kids and teammates?

Did none of us grow up playing competitive sports with the end goal being crowned champions?

Why do we want our kids to do the best they can at school, not because we believe they will all become doctors and lawyers, but because we want them to achieve success, however that looks

So whether your playing for the OHL Cup this week, or trying to win the A Division in U15, its a goal and kids work hard all year to acheive it. And you are correct, there is only a year or two left of this for our kids, so how can be faulted for not trying to soak it all in because when those couple years finish, this will all be over.

Whether you are U15AAA, or U15A...see you in mens league...perhaps maybe just a different division.

A select few of the Vaughn parents are pretty delusional, not all, but a select few. Grow up. If you want to complain this much about the refs or the other team, take a clinic and ref some games. I doubt you could even skate.

VRE as much as I like the parents and kids are not as good a hockey team. SIR, hats off to those kids and coaches for kicking butt and taking names this year. You now have a target on your backs for 2025/26 season! Were coming for ya! Good luck to both teams. U15A Stanley Cup Series!
