The have big $ behind, like the u16 team. They have a great young coaching staff. They are adding the best offensive player in 2012, the best defenceman and the best goalie.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 9:43 amTitans? How exactly are they accomplishing that?Guest wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 9:31 am VK beat NYR in game 2. The gap is closing, love to see close games in playoffs. NYR will still win because they have #16.
Next year it’s going to be even better in terms of parity. TM, VK, Titans, DMF have all brought in multiple game changing players.
NYR is losing 2/3 first line players and JRC just making a few swaps, but no high end additions. The top 6 is going to be interesting to see how it stacks up. Real hockey is starting, so teams can’t rely on 1 good line. Injuries will happen, size and depth become a big factor.

That is a big improvement, the top 2 teams are getting weaker. Remember there is hitting next year! So all those small and weak skilled players will not be as effective, in fact they will be detrimental because they will get scared and turn over the puck. Coaching on the top 2 teams, may appear to be really good because they win right now but have either of them had success with coaching after U13? Both were perimeter powerplay merchants in their own hockey career and have no idea how to teach about gritty hockey.
From September to now, the other teams have caught up. CM and CL are the reasons those teams win in big games, but other teams
TM, DMF, VK, Titans all have a few giants, where as JRC and NYR are very small and their big players lack skill.
TM and VK will become the cream of the crop. Book it!
