VR - Couldn't find anything
MB - Lots of coaching and scouting experience
TE - Played NCAA, Europe
MR - hockey trainer at CHA
MNS - hockey trainer at SPEED
MT - Strength trainer
GTC - couldn't find anything
MJ - couldn't find anything
TW - Played Junior, USports, SPHL
HVS - played NHL, AHL, Europe
FT - Former GTHL A coach
WML - drafted NHL, played AHL, Europe
ST - couldn't find anything
VP - couldn't find anything
Well first do your own research, and I don't mean that in ahole way. Seems you have already done some, though looks like you are misinformed on a few coaches.

Next, most of these teams are already chosen for next season, so are you looking for opinions or are you looking to simply engage people in talking about coaches? What is your son hoping to learn? Serious question, you are looking for a team in late March. Might be hard to find a "good" situation at this point.

Primarily, I'm looking for a coach who can help my son be more effective on the powerplay and to teach him how to be a superior goal scorer. Sounds cliche, but in AAA he was utilized as a defensive forward and I feel that he's missed out on offensive development.

Now this is what I call doing your homework. Experience and qualifications is important. Would you hire a lawyer who never pass the bar or even practiced law? Probably not. So I would steer away from anyone who does not have the hockey experience if your looking to further develop at this age. Reality is top 5 teams are pretty much set. Everyone else is still picking and choosing. You should talk to parents you may know from some of these teams to get an idea of how the overall season and experience was.

The majority of AAA players that come down to AA don't dominate. If you want to play on the PP, go to a bottom half team. If you want your kid to learn at U16, you need a coach with significant high level hockey experience. Lastly, talk to parents on the team.

MNS - Have the pieces, can new coach deliver?

TE - kids skating around. Toxic env, coach has no control
MJ - no better, no worse. Will coach care with his kid gone?
MR - coach overperformed, can he do it again? Need D and a G.
GTC - can FG keep his hands off and let new guy do his job?
FT - meet the new coach, same as the old coach

MT - old ST team. Coach is hothead.
HVS - better but not good enough
TW - s#it show coach, single A players
WML - poor westmall
VP - punching bag of the div.
“MR- Coach over performed”  ok bro 8-) Rosie blowing up Rosie’s ego again.

FT coach is a current G AA coach, something like 10-12 years experience in AA.

Everything else looks accurate, though i'd say from being around this loop forever. The guys with playing experience at even the highest level, it doesn't make them good coaches. Kinda like Gretzky. Good luck in your search.

MRs head coach played jr a , is a trainer at CHA and Journey to excel. The assistant coach played NCAA, ECHL, pro in europe, and got offered back to play in europe a couple months ago. Both coaches are amazing and have lots of experience.
