NT to Rebels CT to NYRGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 1:03 pm 2 new tenders for VK next year? Who they bringing in better than what they have? And where NT going?
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
NT is staying with VK; CT staying with Rebels. NT bringing in big goalie from North Shore.
WL staying where he is.
The days of demanding playing time are over. Lots of goalies in this league and parents need to step aside and let coaches coach and players play. Earn your ice.
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
Coaches coach to win and if anyone believes a coach who guarantees playing time is delusional if a top player is producing that player will play a ton doesn’t matter what the coaches promised others at tryoutsGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 1:31 pmNT is staying with VK; CT staying with Rebels. Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
And who would that be? Based on what you can see, they lost 1 game in their last 7. Beat JRC, Beat DMF, Tied and Lost to NYR 1x. NT and the VK team showed up when it mattered most and had a coaching staff that out coached every team. Congrats to VK and good luck at OHF's.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 11:13 amLay off the drugs there are a few goalies that would have stopped VKGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 11:06 amNo, they wouldn't. No goalie, no other team was going to stop VK. Watch the games. No team was bad, 1 was just betterGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 11:01 amIf they had a real AAA goalie they would be champsGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 9:47 amIt's not one players fault at all come on... NYR is an incredibly skilled group but they just don't have the fight in them. They are small and mostly not very tough. They're unstoppable in space but once you take that space away, they have nothing. They barley drove the net against VK because they'd get their asses kicked every time. Everyones been saying the game is changing as the kids age and now that it's happening you all want to act surprised and blame other kids? You have to evolve. Only the strong will survive moving forward. Best of luck to allGuest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 9:40 amWL cost nyr the playoffs anyone who watched it knows time for nyr to get a real goalieGuest wrote: ↑Fri Mar 28, 2025 10:23 pm
What happened is life. All the parents of superstar 9 year olds who thought it actually mattered at that age are all starting to realize that it literally meant nothing. Top GTHL goalies at 9-10? Big, but Irrelevant. Brick kids? Some are still relevant, most are not. And out of those that are still relevant most of them will drop off too. You were all fooled by little kid hockey and the cream is rising to the top. Not only that the “my kid plays in the GTHL so he’s going to the NHL” days are ending soon too. Top players in GTHL, Alliance, OMHA etc (I said top players, yes I know the G is stronger as a whole) will all be close in talent and everything you thought about hockey will be proven wrong. So enjoy the memories, be proud of what your kid accomplished when they were little, but for 90 percent of them - it’s over

Most coaches are just lazy. The guy that show up 10 minutes before events. Do the same repetitive garbage practices. They think that they are hockey gurus because they overplay their best players. Then when it comes time to make changes to tactics, they can’t because they only taught the kids the same thing. Instead of saying it’s my fault for not preparing the kids, they just blame 1-3 kids. No accountability.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 1:31 pmNT is staying with VK; CT staying with Rebels. NT bringing in big goalie from North Shore.

The problem is the goaltending on teams like NYR and JRC. These goalies have never faced more than 10 shots a game and all of a sudden pucks go in and panic starts. They all have been on the top teams for years. Bad decisions by the parents.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 3:44 pmMost coaches are just lazy. The guy that show up 10 minutes before events.
