What is SC like as a coach? Will he develop kids well?
He’s the best at taking your money. Your kid will learn quickly how money talks
He is mid, not the worst, not the best. For a kid going to TRW, it is probably equivalent to your kids skill level. This age group has the weakest coaching staffs collectively in the entire GTHL. They are either ex players with no passion, or passionate fathers with know knowledge or skillset to share. They will change come u14 where the ringer coaches will take over.
Weaker coaches I don’t know but at least the talent is deeper than the 2012,2014 groups. Truly awful hockey to watch. 2013 and 2010 the two deepest groups by a mile.
Says who? 2013 GTHL is not strong. The US teams smack you around. Not a single silver stick in 3 years. The US talent is really good though
U.S. teams smack them around?? You’re thinking 2012 and 2014. 2012 CJR didn’t lose a game this year. 2013 G teams beat all the top U.S. teams this year.
yes I confirmed on myhockeyranks
TYN beat T-I, Caesars, Reapers, Cleveland etc etc also lost some but beat them multiple times
JRC tied Caesars and beat Mid Fairfield
TM beat Cleveland
The top 2014 coach GL doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground! 2012 is a joke group as well. We are just fine here.
2012/2011 is FAR better than this age group, 2014 is a not great… many ex NHL players, ex pros, and top end skills coaches on the benchs. VK, JRC, NYR, TM. Who are on the benches of the top teams? TM Someone’s dad, who never got passed AAA and his drug addict brother(tm), old fat guy with a Smurf(TYN), JRC coaches are solid, obese coach assistant, VK an is decent but has the iq of an acorn.
Far better coaching? You don’t know the age groups.
The VK coach who won 2012 got moved down from an older group because he’s incompetent. DV from JRC can’t even coach his team past VK who has 1/4 the talent. You learn about hockey from playing PS5?
What Are you talking about?
2012
DS from Vk won multiple championships, had the 08 vk team, has assistant that played NHL
JRC LJ Professional experience 2nd NHL round pick, assistant is LD, trains NHL players
NYR PS, played in NHL, assistant Is CM, incredibly good skills coach
TM not sure- probably another dad coach
tell me how someones dad who never got out of AAA, his stoner brother, and a bunch of old fat guys compare...?
Fitz is a former pro
BP is a former pro
No mention of AS? Best resume of any coach in any age group
The only difference I see is, is they have better assistant coaches.
I just check hockey db to see if they were good players when they played and then it comes down to how good they are at communicating to children.
Coaches that put in a big effort, are passionate about teaching vs winning and have a high level of skill currently are the best for young kids. Once they have developed the fundamental skills, all that matters is their tactics at older age groups.
At this age it’s important to have a coach who has a really high skillset so the kids can mimic.
What is peculiar though is that the most of the ex pros at this age group, have weak teams. I wonder why that is.
It’s all relative. The ex pros 2012 coaches may have better teams but those teams are in a weaker age group.

Cheezies lose in the semis for the third straight year and XZ couldn't beat TYN in 3 starts. Should have played TV!
3 or 4 TM families having beers with TYN after the game AM & bros walked by with tails between their legs

Must be difficult being unable to count.
TYN beat XZ in only 1 game, on one goal he allowed with an empty net goal to win 2-0. A win in the first game for XZ, you must have forgotten that one. Your playoffs are two rounds thus far. He is 1-1-2 vs TYN. You must be TYN goalie parents or the other TM goalie parents. Kick a kid when he's down huh - Soooo 2013 GTHL. Get a life, man,
