And let’s be honest, we all know AAA tends to go for the tough, physical players. Those are the ones who seem to get picked, even by the lower tier teams.
There's not, pal. So many 07s are leaving the game, so there are lots of spots. Bigger is better, unless you are super skilled, but if you were, you'd be draft already. Have fun. Play hard. Enjoy the year.

Guest wrote: Fri Apr 04, 2025 3:42 pm I'm sure the Minnesota high school teams are on the ice double what the kids in the GTHL do.

Local Prep parents, how many times a week is your athlete on the ice a week excluding game?
how many times a week is your athlete on the in the gym during the week?

GTHL, practice twice a week and gym twice a week.
St Andrews prep routinely beat top JR B teams and other prep teams that would probably give a few OHL teams a run

Yeah, I totally agree, St Andrew’s is legit. Same with St No names’s and UCC. These are the real deal prep schools people actually recognize, not those thrown together hockey first schools with zero academics behind them.

St Andrew’s especially doesn’t just take anyone, they actually accept top tier students, and teams know that. It goes a long way when a player’s coming out of a respected program like that. You’re not just another name from a random hockey academy, you’re coming from a school with real structure, real standards, and serious rep.
Lmfao!!! Buddy, the money is what gets you in. You’re stupid if you think otherwise. Good players with big daddy wallets. A lot of those kids are real entitled shitheads.
But hockey is money: you need to pay to play. St. Andrews sets them up for an entitled future and what is wrong with it?
Key word, entitled and that’s exactly how they act.

Relocating to Mississauga. Kid plays on strong OMHA team, but with move, he will have to move. How much should we expect to pay in team fees? Looking at top 6 teams.

Rumour is that a last minute deal was made with Puck Daddy, he is teaming up with the VP 2009 AA coach to take over a u18 AAA team potentially in the G.

Has anyone had experience working under Puckdaddy93? I went on his socials, seems like a bit of a hard ass. I know they would prioritize tough players who can lay the body. At least he would keep the boys in check though.

Is u18 draft real or do you pay to get picked, asking for a friend of a friend

A friend of a friend has a kid that didn’t play much during the season, will they get money back? Do coaches blacklist certain players for team hopping and being a parent cut?

No it is not.
Originally it was good, last couple of years it is a money grab
