My kid skipped his draft year and is looking to play triple next year. Anyone know any teams looking for a player?

Now you’re talking, bro! Those are the connections you NEED. If scouts haven’t noticed your kid by now, I’d suggest NOT holding your breath that they are going to come knocking. People are setting their kids up

AA 10th forward on NYR got drafted.
Impre$$ive!
Not impre$$ive. Embarrassing.
Don’t forget the Nats kid with ONE point all year, drafted to Erie
You know what’s really embarrassing? Being a know-it-all only NOW that this hockey things all comes down to $$ after you chased this pipe dream for a decade … only now you realize it’s all rigged?

Don’t act like you got this all figured out after you wasted years and hundreds of thousands on this hobby.

At least those other kids with only one point actually got drafted. Maybe they’ll sign you a shirt if you show up to a game next year.
You know what’s embarrassing? Actually thinking that the last rounders even get to play a game next year lol
The first rounders will be lucky to get a few shifts a game. You’re obviously new or a AA parent

Those sh*t kids that got drafted because of money, family or friends will be playing u18.
Plus now daddies just put targets on their kids backs.

Why does it matter? It is what it is. Those kids are not sh*t, they are KIDS. If you disagree with what their parents or the teams did, that's fine, but there's no need to take it out on the kids.

If your kid got drafted, awesome. If not, it feels bad, but it's not the end of hockey for them, it's just the next piece of adversity for them to work through. Just keep working, keep pushing. If the kids are reading this, ignore the negative adults, believe in yourself, and keep trying. Persistence often wins and not everyone develops on the same schedule.

Same kid who’s been making fun of kids stats for years!
Well done Erie!
This is classic example, like most late rounders, of picks that weren’t researched, no background or character check. Just favors or money.

AA 10th forward on NYR got drafted.
Impre$$ive!
With 0 points for the season
Drafted by the team where his NYR coach scouts
And OG 14th round pick from Sens…small, 4pts in 31 games.
Such a waste.
I get it money pick.
So embarrassing for OHL and player.

A real embarrassment for the OHL, and more so, a real embarrassment for the organization that made the pick. The player referenced in the comment above, was the 10th forward on a last place team in the GTHL.

The same can be said with the 10th forward that was drafted from the North York Rangers, whose father recently purchased 50% of the North York Rangers OJHL team. If you connect the dots on this one….. you’ll know why this player was drafted to the Niagara dogs of the OHL.

Yes 13th pick to Saginaw. What a that? If he hasn’t figured out how to put up points in gthl (20 points in 2 years) he’s all of a sudden going to be productive.
