So where will pool boy’s kid end up? And what about the twins? Are these kids gonna land somewhere? Maybe NYR? MM? Rebels? I’m sure those teams are desperate for some low end talent.

We are 6 days away from tryouts and have no idea who the coach is for DMF.
A very few parents looking to keep it together but many of them are quietly looking for spots. Including their top players. Crazy situation.
How can someone take this situation seriously and sacrifice a year of hockey/development with so many unknowns?
Don't believe all the rumours about kids going to DMF there's a lot of trolling and games going on. The new coach was announced very late in the year and he was put in a difficult spot and they're going to do the best they can. A lot of DMF players are going to be selected during the 3 days of tryouts and even AL and MA will tell you it's a 3 year total rebuild. These guys are going to do their best after being put on the bench less than 2 weeks before tryouts.
The most important thing is the team got rid of the Barrie scum and the twins who have no business in this league and had MH in their back pocket because they paid him off. Cutting those kids left DMF with 6 spots to fill in early April and no coach is going to be able to get high end players this late in the season so if they sign a few stinkers to fill the roster so what. It gives kids like HB or whoever another year in AAA and it fills out the roster. The coaches are focussing on 5 core players which they already had and are filling gaps around them. Next year they will replace those kids with upgraded players. It's a process. I have spoken to AL and this team is on the right track it's just going to take time. If they can manage a top 8 finish next year it's a win for them and they are going to keep getting better.

No Parents should be on the bench at this level and age group. You are telling us that DMF couldn't find a suitable coach knowing that they were trying to remove MH. Are these coaches getting paid or are their kids getting free rides? How do you run fair tryout assessments when coaches’ kids are exempt. Nothing has change with DMF other than the parent that running things next season has move from the manager position to the coaching on the bench.

Who are the 5 core players?
JL
JA
AR
JC
HH
are who they will be looking to build around after next year. If they can get solid D like 43 from JRC and 53 from VK they would also build around those kids.
