Sorry buddy about your situation but I don’t think anyone wants to keep hearing about how you paid $120 to the OHP lady for a skate and didn’t make the team. If your kid still hasn’t made a team try Rebels. Not sure how much they charge for skates but keep in mind paying for a skate doesn’t mean you are guaranteed a spot on a team. This is normal. The other thing is that you seem misinformed. Most teams including OMhA are pretty much set with maybe 1-2 spots remaining. Many kids don’t make AAA. You can play AA and try the following year. Don’t get so hung up on AAA. These kids have a lot of hockey to play still and many make the jump later.

Ha! The Rebels. The top AA teams will be better than the Rebels. Don't waste your money and stop chasing the extra "A"

I feel for this guy kid. The kid doesn’t have a chance in life and it’s a shame. I hate seeing parents get in the way of decent kids.

Agreed - you need to get out of your own kids way. At this rate the rebels won’t even take you.

Guest wrote: Thu Apr 17, 2025 7:27 pm What scam is this guy going on about? You still haven’t found a team have you? It’s time to put in the work .
Let me school you. I start a hockey school. I find a mark and pay that mark say $50k to lease a team for a year. Then, I charge kids in my hockey school $60-$120 per skate, few times a week, telling them they are trying out for a G team, though this is violation of G rules. I make that $50k back in a month or less and then bank. Clear?
Jibberesh is all a distraction from the scam. If G lets this go this year, easiest way to make money is ask bottom feeder teams for a lease.

You have to let it go. Lesson and learn, trusted wrong person. Stay way, that's it.
