To all the the house leaguers parents that think the little Johnny deserves to play AA. When your kid gets blown up next year because they are not stronger skaters or have body awareness. You were warned. it not too late to get out
Not sure I follow the context of this comment. I’m not seeing many houseleague kids out at the skates. Wouldn’t the process and tryouts naturally filter these kids out?
Hey smart guy. If you're going to multiple skates, your kid is one those we call " houseleague".
I did not know 'houseleague" gets offers at all the skates they attend.
Not sure why that guy is so angry but he is obviously upset at the “houseleaguers”. Maybe one of them is threatening his kids spot on a team….
I know, and that guy thinks tryouts are still a thing. Teams are done long time ago, especially the good ones.
Maybe one or two teams will be still looking for players at tryouts. Tryouts just a formality,

It’s probably the same guy with the NYK derangement syndrome commenting still.

I feel sorry for you when your kid stops playing hockey. YOUR kid is a AA player he's not the best or he would be playing AAA Hope calling 12 year old kids house league makes you feel better.

Ignore him. He’s an online bully (aka coward) who lives his life through his sons fragile AA hockey career and now that is being threatened so he lashes out at 12 year old kids anonymously online here.

Enjoy the summer and coming back in the fall

PS I am sure it will pick up after try outs when people start to see who's going where

I seen the GT Caps the other day and their new team looks better than some AAA teams and they are still playing right now

Yup, that team is loading up on kids whose parents can't bribe their way on AAA teams and they are above board. Most AA teams, if not all are tax compliant...the AAA teams need to be audited up the wazoo by CRA because they have A kids and have been doing the pay to play for years.... $20k under the table for a spot etc... you can run from CRA, but you can't hide from them if there is any sort of electronic records. Enjoy the summer while the auditors in Sudbury work.

SYB is going to have a solid D core this year. Got rid of the the over rated AAA addition, smalls and a few others. Replaced them with under sized AAA cuts that are good enough to play AAA, but coaches still are old school looking for size.
