2014 AAA
Re: 2014 AAA
Whitby cuts more aa fat and gets better each year. There coach is the only one around that knows what they are doing. Apr friends and family discounts again. Dhd needs business ofc. Omha loop taking a huge hit losing a lot of talent. CG suffers with fillers again…

Genetics is starting to really play a factor though, just look at how much HG and HS from VK have dropped off.
Yeah those little rocket kids have fallen off as the game changes to big boy hockey. Sorry, small mommy and small daddy make small hockey players. Genetics usually wins.
Stop acting like your kid is the only one who can play...
Re: 2014 AAA
Nobody f**kin cares about Whitby. The coach is a wash up European who routinely takes a 3 foot infant as a goalie. APR is a joke of an org, kids are desperate to leave. The only ones who stay are those who play with the coaches goalie son in his basement. If your not in the G, nobody cares. Move on loser.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 6:38 pm Whitby cuts more aa fat and gets better each year. There coach is the only one around that knows what they are doing. Tell me you haven't been through this before without telling me...Going into U12 now, after this season some parents gonna get a shock when little AAA Johnny is no longer considered AAA material anymore. Enjoy the ride, it changes drastically, let your kid love the game it'll all work out.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 8:49 amTop AA kids are years away from competing in this league. So you are telling me that GTHL coaches are all better than any other leagues. That all players are in thr GTHL earned their spots fairly and didn't pay extra to the coach in some capacity. There's no kids displaced in the GTHL aho shouldnt be there?
Do you not follow the GTHL news and scandals? It's not hard to find out.
Yes great players on top teams in the GTHL arguably the best in Ontario but stop saying the G is only place to play. It's corrupted as f.
Re: 2014 AAA
I'm sure there are kids on elite or AAA teams now will fade away...those kids aren't getting attention now. If you are a kid who went to the brick or top point accumulators now I have a hard time believing those kids will fade away. Believe me I would love it if some of them did as I'm sick of them and their parents and their coaches but I don't see it happening. If you look back at who the good kids were at age 9/10 they are still the good kids now.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 8:09 amTell me you haven't been through this before without telling me...Going into U12 now, after this season some parents gonna get a shock when little AAA Johnny is no longer considered AAA material anymore. Re: 2014 AAA
Going though this with my 3rd kid now, yes I'm forever in debt...Mostly you're right. The elite kids mostly stay on top, kids who went to the Brick, top scorers and goalies mostly stay at that level but not everyone. U14 and U15 is when I notice the most upheaval, high school, puberty...things change a lot and more than most people think. You'll have some AA kids that will come up at that age and be top players, and vice versa. I've seen it and I've been shocked by how much a kid improved or how much a kid dropped or simply lost interest.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 10:21 amI'm sure there are kids on elite or AAA teams now will fade away...those kids aren't getting attention now. Re: 2014 AAA
Genetics don't just kick in when someone turns 13 or enters high school. Sorry your kid isn't one of the rockets on the ice. Speed is certainly a good skill to to have and not everyone has it.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 2:09 pmNYR will be a has been AA team with a few experienced AAA roster fillers. Re: 2014 AAA
Right and I'm not disagreeing with you. A kid who is on the 3rd line of an elite team and just hanging on right now most likely won't be in the game in high school. they still might play but they wont be playing in college. But if you're a stand out player at 10 chances are you will be headed to a prep school for high school and maybe playing in college. I also see a lot of kids getting player of the game and attention based on who their daddy is. It's crap.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 10:30 amGoing though this with my 3rd kid now, yes I'm forever in debt...Mostly you're right. Some G coaches are corrupt and everyone knows it. Parents know who they are and what they’re signing up to.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 9:10 amGuest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 8:23 pmNobody f**kin cares about Whitby. Whitby (Reddox) and APR (Kemp) are worse because they pretend to not be corrupt, but still do the same shit they do in the G behind everyone’s backs, and then try to pass off to the unsuspecting parents that they’re ’not Like that’ and are the nice guys.
Whitby is the KLEVR 2014’s safe haven, APR is the Cole Goodine and Logan Kenp safe haven, and anyone left from KLEVR. Everyone knows this. As you said yourself, friends and family discount to play APR, plus any scraps left that other AAA teams don’t want. If you’re not in the DHD club and Andrew Goodine’s ego inflator, you’re not making Whitby or APR.
