Sounds like the whitecraps coach tooGuest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 9:59 am Where has he coached? I know a family up north and apparently he was not well liked in ND and he didn't coach this year. Was a "helper" the year before.

Waxers taking KSL tier 2 kids over Markham and Stouffville MD is a good move. Tier 2 KSL kids are more stronger than Markham and Stouffville MD for the most part. Sorry but this is the truth.

Not really. They took the Stars tier 2 players that didn't win a single game all year and was dead last in Klevr. In fact, they played some of the MD guys off the record this year and lost miserably.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 10:16 am Waxers taking KSL tier 2 kids over Markham and Stouffville MD is a good move. Normally I would agree that I would take KSL kids over MD. But I wouldn't be scrapping the bottom of the KSL barrel if there were better players. If the coaching staff did their background homework on everyone, they would've known.

But they still took a bunch of Stouffville MD kids and missed out on the good Waxers kid. They also missed out on the good Mustang kid.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 10:16 am Waxers taking KSL tier 2 kids over Markham and Stouffville MD is a good move. The players Waxers signed from ND were the ones JW was caught poaching, not sure how they were still able to sign there. Funny thing is the forward they signed wasn’t even a top 3 MD kid, he was very intimidated once full ice hit. The one D they signed from ND was a good MD 1/2 D, struggled a little once full ice came, but he will be fine. I really hope JW signs some KSL studs after wasting spots on ND MD’s and Stouffville MDs

No limit on the Klevr kids in Barrie.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 10:09 am Heard Barrie Colts AAA will be taking a maximum of 5 Klevr kids per year going forward. Is this true?
Any other organization that is limiting Klevr players? So far, the only confirmed one is Oakville Rangers.

Waxers are turning away tryout offers from players that were last cuts by a few top GTHL teams who played Tier 1 & 2 last year.

Those kids should come out to the Markham Islanders AA tryouts this weekend.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 1:15 pm Waxers are turning away tryout offers from players that were last cuts by a few top GTHL teams who played Tier 1 & 2 last year.

Just absolute disaster with the signing it seems. Also just found out they turned away a Tier 1 Klevr kid that was a top player on their team that won the championship that is looking to return home to play in Markham. What is happening with this team. Actually had decent players coming out to tryout and getting turned away.

Markham Waxers AA is looking strong now with all the studs that AAA failed to recognize and pick up.
